OT, but i see the bruins winning the whole thing here. firing on all cylinders and can beat an opponent in a multitude of ways. i don't think chicago has the mettle to beat them. the only joy i'm getting out of watching the hawks is sharp and zus together reminds me of 2004, my second favorite flyers team ever.

you realize of course this now means chicago will win.

I'm not sure.
If Keith and Hjalmarsson can keep up their stellar play, and Crawford doesn't implode, I think the Hawks will win.

Why did the Flyers of the 70s have long hair?

He's already productive against pro adults in the 2nd best league in the world... that's usually a good sign.

He will be readily available at pick 11, just waiting to be plucked. Thank heavens for that 4 game win streak to end the year. The confidence it will build will move mountains.

Many believe he is. He has the size and speed necessary. Drafting team will have to worry about the defensive side early on. Which can be tempered with mostly Off. Zone starts and PP time.

don't think crawford will hold up. LA wasn't much of an offensive challenge for them. the bruins have a lot of scoring depth - and jagr hasn't even put one in yet.

speaking of the bruins, i love this krug kid so far.

I have also been on the "Draft D" bandwagon, even if it means not taking a Monahan or Shinkaruk with the 11th. It seems like the only option that doesn't involve losing one or more of the young core. But it's also a 2-3 year plan at best.
- TheGreat28

I would pass on Shinkaruk but Monahan still being there means that Ristolian, Nurse and Pulock would probably be gone. Were that to happen Monahan is far and away a better pick than the rest of the D in this draft and we should probably look to trading Coots or Schenn for a Defensemen.

When the "Bruins are interested in Briere" talk surfaced, he was on my list of targets.

When he played last season he seemed over matched. I didn't think he could do what he's doing now. While size in the NHL isn't the issue it's been in the past it still seems to be a considerable disadvantage on defense.

Rick MacLeish's mustache could have scored 10 goals on a 4th line for the California Golden Seals.

I was looking more for getting an asset for a guy that was a logical buy out candidate.

He displaced Doogie from their line up.

I think if Richards had played the whole series and Kopitar was healthy the last series would have been a lot closer.
