- Feeling Glucky?

I think the Jordan Staal situation last year should teach us that Shero is willing to trade a supposed untouchable if he feels there's a risk of losing him to free agency. I'm not comparing Malkin to Staal, but it wouldn't surprise me if Shero pulls a trade at the draft or during this summer. I can't imagine the return for Malkin on a sign&trade.

Jesus, Easton wasn't even around when I was growing up.

I remember having a truline 9, cheapie hockey stick. Then of course it was all about Titans.

In our league, you can't take clappers, so I use a 85 flex for the wristers.

I played with

Except my blade was Joe Sakic's Oh and my stick was too long for me, which made all coaches turn me into Mike Komisarek.

I still have two yellow Typhoons in the garage.

One still hasn't even had a blade put in it yet.

I've actually just gone down to an intermediate stick. I simply don't have the weight anymore to use an 85 flex effectively.

I had the Joe Sakic blade buddy Light curve, designed for quick wrist shots and backhands...couldn't slap to save my life...didn't help that I suck at hockey outside of skating like a maniac and led the league I was in in blocks 3 years running!

I'd say 40 games before his new team sends him to the minors to never be heard from again.
- Oilhab

Well hopefully its not Montreal because he would have to compete for 1st line centre in Hamilton with Desharnais

Everyone had the Joe Sakic curve.

http://www.thestar.com/ne...n_of_a_canadian_icon.html

For many years Warrior’s most popular curve was called the Draper, after long-time Red Wing Chris Draper. The Draper, as it happens, wasn’t the curve favoured by Draper; he commissioned a mould based off a curve favoured by Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews.

The Draper sold in retail stores was a standard middle-of-the-blade bend, not too extreme, not too straight — Easton’s version of a similar bend was long known as the Sakic, after Joe Sakic. The Draper continues to endure, only recently it’s been renamed the Kopitar, after L.A. Kings forward Anze Kopitar. It can get confusing.
