I wouldn't recommend a metal roof, the noise when it rains is unbearable even with insulation, this I know first hand, friends did it and got rid of it after a couple of years, sounded like bullets hitting the roof, really loud at night when it rained.

Edit: if you only use sporadically then it is fine.

how long ago was that?

metal roofing is becoming the new norm. insulated properly there is little noise.

Same as my friends, it is loud and if you get a lot of rain and you spend a lot of time in the cabin, it will start to bother you, cabins are small and the sound resonates..

It is small, only 17 X 14 ft. My father and Grandfather have their ashes sprinkled there, as will I

I loved the sound of the rain on the roof.

Stop peaking in my window!

You think that most Edmonton fans don't act like they have at least 5 untouchables on the team?

I cannot name ONE other fan base that would list that many untouchables.

I htink St. Louis doesn't do it unless they have problems signing Shattenkirk and staying under the cap.

As I posted on the Oilers thread, it is a tough deal for either team to do... so it probably works out pretty fair.

From St. Louis' point of view, they are a legit contender for the cup now so two key current pieces probably doesn't make sense for futures in return, no matter how good the futures might be.

Yak could score 40 next year

I love the kid... Can't wait to see him under Eakins.

I played with

Except my blade was Joe Sakic's Oh and my stick was too long for me, which made all coaches turn me into Mike Komisarek.

Metal roofs on small cabins and cottages is like being in a shed but if you are only there for a few times a year and want to limit the wear on the roof, it is fine, if you use it for vacationing and having company up for large amount of times, it can be bothersome, and if it hails... lol

I think he could score 50 at some point.

As I posted yesterday, reminds me of Bure. He isn't as dynamic, nobody was/is but he'll still score as much, playing in a much bigger, faster, tougher era.

Think I'd move Eberle before him if faced with the choice.

Nail just has the ability to push the pace like few players. Him and Hall on a line is pretty scary

We have the cottage for vacationing. This is a special place. Women don't venture out much/ It is rustic and charming at the same time. Lots of character and bears teeth marks.
