Should 3rd liners not be getting between 1 ans 2 milly per. Any more and it is crazy - bixll
2-3 million is the going rate for third liners really anymore
4th liners are in the 1-2million range nowadays |

that wasnt the argument
it was specifically "he's too small"
he isnt too small.. . but i agree he isnt overly physical at all. - Dozzer
I meant how big he plays, how strong he is. He loses battles all the time. I don't see him in there battling like the smaller guys you listed. |

I think in this case the cliche "he plays smaller than he is" applies
when i'm watching bozak out there he plays like he's 5'8", 170
i agree with you in saying i'm not particularly a fan of his, but also don't have a hate on for him either. he's just "meh" to me - dragus84
i'd honestly let him walk.. i think its time to give colborne a go at it.. thats if nonis fails to being in an upgrade at centre over the summer |

then say that he plays small.. not that he isnt big enough for the 3rd line
physically.. he is.
i agree with you about his game tho.. he's pretty soft |

Semantics.... What difference does it make if he's 6' or 5' if he plays like he's 3'?

We wont be paying him top 6 Money. That Money will be going to one of: Richards, Ribeiro or Roy. Not Ballsack. - Jimmy_wiener
Kessel and JVR can score with whoever is in the middle, I think a better option would be to sign someone a little tougher than Bozak and better at faceoffs. I would love to see guys like Fisher and Abdelkader play on the 2nd and 3rd line and just promote Kadri! Imagine if somehow we could swing this lineup:
Van Reimsdyk - Kadri - Kessel
Lupul - Fisher - Clarkson
MaArthur - Abdelkader - Kulemin
D'Amigo - McClement - Frattin |

Justin Applicator would be a great addition. Fisher is (frank)ing Carrie Underwood in Nashville as we speak, he is going nowhere, and I don't blame him. |

sigh.. not gonna get into this today burn
when you say a guy is too small it implies physically
if your intention is note how he plays then you have to clarify it with an adjective
its the way english works |

How? do they do drills for that. Is there a skills camp to improve ones gritt? IMO you ether have it or you don't. You can't teach someone to lay their body on the line for the win, some will run through a brick wall for the win, others turn away when it starts to get tough. IMO if it was coachable we see A LOT more guys that were soft but have been coached into being more gritty. I cant recall one. |

cody franson got a bit more physical and tougher this season, but it may have just been due to more playing time |
