I have an iPod Touch. Great for minor surfing, listening to music, etc.

But I can't effing stand the fact that it won't let me email my own damn .mp3s to people.

If you buy an MP3 player, fill it up with songs you bought legally, and give it to a friend as a gift, you can go to jail and face massive fines(5000 per song or some poop like that).

one negative with the S4...its a 16gb phone, but 7+ gb is taken up by the OS. So you actually only have 9GB space...thats just idiotic. By comparision the iphone 5 uses 1gb or so.

But since you can expand the storage 64gb, you get 73 total

no, it provides you a better option (unless you want to jailbreak your phone)

but if you want to email things directly: i think there are certain download managers that allow you to do it.

dropbox i really like tho.. because it allows me to choose when something comes into my phone..

good question, i would guess its either the phone (4g capable I assume), or a setting on it you can change to use 4g or LTE if your phone is capable of that.

if it were me I would want to find out

you can DL speedtest.net app and check some speeds, it might not make much difference, but it might between 3 and 4g
