the wife and I both had (she still does) iphones, that not completely true. We both started complaining about them not working so well, apps crashing, lag and freezing up at times. The more use and crap you install will do that of course.

I had a rough time typing on my S3....even paid for the top rated keyboard in addition to trying Swype for months....just made far too many mistakes....accuracy seems to be better on the iphone so far. Dont know if its cause the S3 was so big...who knows.

Don't download any apps. Your android will work fine.

The number of dropped calls on my iPhone was completely absurd (it was the 3G back then).

If the #1 purpose is to receive a phone call and the reception is so bad that it drops every second call, I say, you have an engineering problem.

I don't have that problem with the Galaxy but I've kept the same provider.

Only time I get dropped calls is when I'm talking to somebody on the wind network.

Maybe the 3G was bad, never had it. 4&5(no s's)

My experience with Androids:

My first one(ACER) couldn't even load the phone app half the time. Brand new model when I got it, couldn't support the new opperating system.
My Sister's. She's had 2 LGs, both have terrible battery life... first one just stopped working for no reason, nothing could be done for it.

My mom's. Galaxy S2. terrible battery life, doesn't matter what charger you use on it, it barely charges up. probably a lemon.

My Dad's- had the 3d HTC. No problems with it, lost it while on vacation. has the Galaxy tab now... see previously mentioned "malware that downloads 50 apps a day"

Only 1 Android I've seen has been problem free. And it wasn't one of the "big" ones.

As for my iPhones- the 4 slowed down after a couple of years of use, it's true. But I beat that thing to hell... replaced the screen a few times(waaay cheaper than replacing it on an android)... but that's it. Battery was always great, no malware issues, no problems with dropped calls.

the 5- no problems yet. screen seems to be invincible.

Emails. I didn't need to browse on my phone.

could be your provider? I had that problem with Telus before switching to Rogers.

my biggest complaint was itunes though..I (frank)ing hate it, I almost never put anything on my phone because it was a pain in the ass..sync here, wipe that, update itunes on 5 computers, convert the songs... good god die already

I have an iPod Touch. Great for minor surfing, listening to music, etc.

But I can't effing stand the fact that it won't let me email my own damn .mp3s to people.

They are my effing songs! I effing loaded them on! I used the completely legitimate Napster, not your stupid iStore! I should be able to do whatever I like!

well either i5 has upgraded this or i missed something.....I had 500+ songs on my sd card, loaded to my pc in a few mins, loaded into a folder i created in itunes in a few minutes and away I went...no converting or problems at all?

and I also had the swiftkey which I remember paying 1.99 for I believe and i am much more accurate on the iphone....again...these are all personal preferences...theres not one phone for everyone.
