Thag is the onlh question I have too... they have said they want a top 4 ready dman.. we throw in stafford or flynn just to smooth it and get a 3rd back... not mention they are only moving bck 3 spots and can still get nurse, risto, monahan, or lindholm.. I say they make out pretty damn good

Oh I don't doubt he's a cool guy in person, but that doesn't exactly excuse him. This site is about blogging, not being a cool person. Garth is obviously a firm believer of quantity over quality which to me just is no good.

Making money is great and all but I wouldn't give my self such a bad name just to make some more cash. That's not really ethical.

I think I like Lindholm over Nichushkin at 5
So I wouldn't trade up to that spot unless Barkov was somehow available (who I think is the best player in the draft)
Nichuskin has a higher ceiling than Lindholm from what I've read, but it also seems like he has much bigger potential to be a bust
I think Lindholm is being overlooked a little bc he doesn't do anything "great"
He just happens to be very solid in all aspects of his game
Where I'd say Nichushkin COULD become "Malkin"
Lindholm is already very "Bergeron-like" and you don't have to worry about the KHl-factor w him either

If Nichuskin were to drop to 8, then I prob take a chance on him... But it's still risky, and trading assets to move up seems like a bad idea to me

Hockeybuzz gets money through hits to the site. If his blogs cause more people to come on and complain about how bad hes doing then the site makes more money and so does he. IMO he gets more hits because he trolls other teams.

I always give Garf's blogs a quick once-over skim since occasionally there is something decent in a blog or two of his but most of the time it's just worthless garbage... and currently it's stuff that's not even relevant to the Sabres.
