If they move Vanek at the draft then they have solidified their position for a long rebuild. You can't just flip his production for a draft pick that may not even make it to the NHL. In Millers case you have Ewok. In Vaneks case, you have noone. This team is already depleated at Wing.

Depends. Enroth has such a small body of work, is he capable of playing multiple stretches of 13 out of 16 games or stealing a few games on a long road trip like Miller did? Or is he just a decent backup. I guess now is the time to find out. As far as Vanek, if you can get a lot for him and he doesn't want to resign at a reasonable cap hit, then move him IMO

Calm down, Grigs was only 18 and was poorly handled this year. He could turn out to be something special once he actually get's some proper ice time on a semi organized team.

All I did was make a factual point. No attacking. Armia has not played in the NHL. Freakorenko has, but very poorly. Interesting that two coaches and a slew of linemayts couldn't coax a few point out of that worldy talent.

Grigs may be good but it has yet to be seen. Armia may be really good too, no proof that he will be.

I'm all for moving Miller at this point. I wouldn't mind Vanek retiring a Sabre, but I just don't think he's a franchise forward that should get another max contract

Call me stupid, but can't we trade cash as part of any deal to get into the top 3? I'm pretty sure that Colorado does pretty well, but Florida could probably use a "capital injection." Now obviously, it would cost A LOT more than a few mil to get that number 2 pick, but it could sweeten the deal considerably. This is all moot of course, if you cant trade cash. Just throwing out an idea...
