I would think that you would have to add a prospect with Eberle. Both JVR and Fransons' stocks have never been higher, whereas coming off an "off season" Eberle's is not!

Nurse is overrated, we're taking Pulock at 11 and rejoicing when he ends up being better than Nurse. Why would trading Couturier for picks help us in any way? No one that we would pick with that pick would be guaranteed to have an impact in the NHL, while Couturier is proven and guaranteed to make some sort of impact, whether it's at his high end potential (Selke competitor) or below there. Trading for picks does nothing but set us back. If we moved Couturier to Edmonton, I would only be willing to do it for J. Schultz. We're not in any way interested in shipping off our greatest assets for picks (unless the pick is in the top 3).

Rangers are no closer than Carolina to be a cup competitor... in fact, if they follow their weird pattern then they will be cup favorites next year. Don't pretend to be Marc Staals BFF and expect to be taken seriously. Odds are in this case that I am far more correct than you and we shall see at either the deadline (if the rangers are outclassed by all the tough compitition next season with new division) or at the draft. I will give you a public shout out on all relevant boards if he resigns with Rangers (or gets traded to any team besides Car for anything clase to his actual value), but don't hold your breath

I personally don't believe in the hype around nurse. Not saying he won't play in the nhl, but he's a project and I personally don't think he'll be anything more than a Luke schenn with a bit more offensive instincts. In my first few mock drafts I had him put of the top 10 because I thought he was going to be a huge bust. Now while he won't be a bust I think he'll just be average. If I'm the oilers I pass on nurse and select ristoleinnen if they go defense. Very physical and bomb for a shot, seen some replay footage and I think he is a potential Shea weber in the making

Whoever gets Jones, Nurse, Ristolainen, or Zadorov are gonna be sitting pretty. I think they are all gonna be top 4 dmen at the very least.

Found in weird that Dallas Eakins never actually scored an NHL goal in his career, only played 120 games too... would have guessed a higher number!
