That was (frank)ing horse poop.

Plenty of chances to bury it ... Failure to convert.

Rough night for Krug. Dog needs to shoot that (frank)ing puck instead of going for the extra move. Lots of regular season-like play last night ... Need to once again get everything on net and get bodies in front.

Hope Horton's injury isn't too serious.

If it is, do we put in Caron and move Tyler up to the top line?

Caron or Yeti I guess. Do you load up (using that term loosely), L3 and go Paille - Kelly - Pevs? Limit L4 minutes?

Guessing we see Bart or Redden in G2. Krug's had a couple rough games.

Overall I thought it was a pretty good game. Better team for the first half, let off too much with the lead though. Tough luck with no finish in OT, I was sure Seguin was going to end it, he was skating really well.

I would put yeti in somewhere...for Thornton? Kelly was -3;he probably deserves to sit,but that won't happen...Bart over redden; need his speed, but not sure if Krug will sit...was ok despite that deadly turnover...

Not sure what Caron has done to deserve ice time? Looks like Horton is day to day..I would put Seguin on top line for sure....or swap him and Jagr....

Forgot Soderclops was a natural C ... might be a good option to get him some ice.

Caron has been playing in AHL games.....that's pretty friggin thin, but I think it gives him a slight edge since he's been playing..

Pan-golf-o hasn't played in 2 months, and sucked, but has the most experience.

Yeti? Maybe if we put him in at a previous point, but it's not fair dropping him into the series at this point. Almost asking him to fail

I probably go

17-46-19
63-37-68
20-23-49
16-38-22

and put in Redden or Bart for Krug. That turnover was god awful, and then he didnt take the pass away after the mistake.

Remember how this website used to be a lot busier?

Pittsburgh makes the EC finals....nobody creates a thread or posts.

Hawks make the cup finals.....last date of anyone being in there was March 14th

Looks like the mods did a great job of cleaning this place up with their years of abuse

so you guys think that krug, thornton, kelly are going to or should sit
not (frank)ing happening, nor should it
it anything #22 should have played more last night and #16

Thornton hardly played in OT and I think that does not help the team overall...if he is dressed then play him...there is no point dressing him if he ain't gonna play and put someone in that can play...forward numbers were thin with Soup and Horton gone, so I'm not clear why Thornton didn't get more minutes...almost scored too

Kelly is a train wreck...I would still play Krug, but if he sits I would put Bart in...

I was a little surprised when 22 was playing in the 3rd period...and I was pissed that they scored while he was on the ice.

I also dont sit him under any circumstances. A Game 1 loss is the easiest game to bounce back from(triple ot included) It's only going to get meaner from here on out and we need Thornton out there for when it does. already lost soupy who is willing to fight, and horton who isn't afraid to go, we need him to keep them honest.

I wouldn't change a (frank)ing thing. We were one rookie mistake and a unfortunate deflection from taking this game. Limit the icings unless Chicago is absolutely buzzing and keep the physical tempo up. Lucic and Krejci are in a zone right now, Jagr slows that line down, let Seguin bring his speed to that unit if Horton misses any time.

personnel wise, agreed
they blew a 2 goal lead with 12 minutes to go and at times dominated
i think when it was 3-1 chicago had a "wtf just happened" look about them
one turnover, they capitalized.momentum shift..they are a good team..and the rest is history

Yeti is only center left so if you load up the 3rd line with peverly and Kelly with dog you gotta play him with Thornton and paille. That should keep him somewhat protected. Pandgolfo is last option, Caron second to last. I'd even throw spooner in as 3rd line center if he's with them and move Kelly to 4th. Very risky to have to put anyone of these guys in after sitting out of games so long but hey that's what playoffs are about. Campbell injury hurts a lot as well as Horton. Not good

I consider bringing in Bart because he's fresher after that double header last night....but then again Krug is young so he'll probably bounce back just fine.......yeah, move Paille up to the 3rd, Kessel junior on the top line, and put in Caron/Yeti with Dog and Thornton on the 4th.....and I'm leaning towards Caron

As we were going down the stretch, coach should have given some of these guys more chances in the lineup. Except Pangolfo, he blows.

Not a bad idea with Spooner, though.
