Bad hammy for Seids.

Unreal what Bergy played through.

And Tyler Seguin doesnt have a scratch on him.

He played better as it went along. Not sure why Kane went to Europe and was able to get the Conn Smythe while Tyler was 3rd line material for Boston

I'm afraid that he's a "1 Cup is Good Enough for me" type guy and will not get to the level that he has the talent to get to

i'm becoming more and more afraid that this is the case. this kid is light years away from being any kind of a warrior. he's actually a big p.ussy if you ask me.

Him and Marchand not scoring killed Bruins....Seguin was saying he has hip problems after the final game and has had those problems for a long time....not sure if this really impacted him or was just trying to keep up to Bergy list of injuries....his skating seemed fine to me....

Meh think the Seguin hate hard-on is overblown. He played with more of an edge than he ever has in the playoffs. Outhit "gritty" Nathan Horton. Players hit slumps. Was still tied for 2nd on the team full of "warriors" in scoring during the reg season after leading it the year before.

He'll be fine.

oh come. other than more "jump" and more "hustle" he wasn't physical. he never goes shoulder with a guy. always does that fan out spin thing before he makes contact.

and horton was playing with a separated shoulder and was actually a force until it re did it.

and this 48 game schedule was a biotch. no question. i think he has something to prove next season.

Regardless he put body to body more than I've ever seen him do before. I really didn't have a problem with his game at all. Not under any delusion that he's turning into Lucic, but the notion that he's unwilling to take or initiate contact is false. He's just not that effective at it

He got taken off Bergy's line when none of those guys were producing. He'll be fine and if I'm a betting man I'd put a sh!t load on him being the B's leading point producer next year and in the mean time his all round game has improved immensely.

19 has a year to pick it up, if not I can definitely see him being moved
he is a better player today than he was, especially in all zones...but he was needed to produce and he didn't
not going to off load that talent off of one bad year/run

Agree. If he flatlines again next season, he's gone. If he steps it up, all is forgiven.

Next year is huge for seguin. If he doesn't mature physically and become more engaging then it will be hard for him to show consistency. I think he will "get it" this summer. Knowing what he knows about bergy who has head issues was willing to go through, you gotta imagine he comes back and will be willing to go through a wall. I book him at 35 goals next year.

getting bigger might help but when you see players like gionta, st. louis, gallagher, etc.....to me it's more of a mindset

And Bergy and Z and Nazi havent said sh!t about their maladies

I think this is a prime example of part of his problem

The Lockout was kind of a curveball for everyone.

If he doesnt make a Stamkos/Tavares type leap, it's time to move him.

Part of me would consider moving him now to keep as many of the guys we have now.

If moving him means we keep Ference, Kelly, Pev and Horton then I'd rather do that. I know Ference was already told to walk. I'm just being hypothetical.

Cup finals 2 out of 3 years. Keep this group together!!!

seguin mentioned it, said he has had it his entire life, didn't use it as an excuse
bergy listed everything that was wrong with him in the dressing room after game 6
he didn't want to but did because the out of town media wouldn't have been around for breakup day
nazi said he tore his hammy in the toronto series
ference said he broke his foot vs toronto
the only one that wasn't specific was chara...and people have said it was a hip flexor

The perception is he's soft.....and I think it's right.

I want more out of him. I'f were losing other guys from our cup teams so this soft Millennial can stay then he better start living up to that contract today

That's quite the leap, those are 2 Hart Trophy level players. He doesn't need to be that. He does need to be in the Hall, Eberle, Zajac, Skinner range though. Which is kind of where I'd put him already anyways. Hall and Eberle produce more but are also relied on a lot more to carry the O.

Perhaps the best news we've heard in quite some time:

Breaking: #NESN notes Naoko Funayama will not return as #Bruins sideline reporter in '13-'14. Station going in ''different direction.''
