Yes the team proven winners both Hitch and Laviolette have had similar problems. As I said a couple yrs under Sutter can only help.

Well... From what I've heard he brings no discernible gameplan or strategy to a matchup... The team is out there going freestyle... That attitude carries over off the ice and the guys run the show and become problems. Team's effort level is always lacking... He's too laid back, too monotone (should get along with Gillis), no control. The guy should be nothing more than an assistant in this league... The "good cop" alongside an assertive head coach.

I've read he's regarded to as the next big coach. Very well thought of by most higher up around the league. I did read he was maybe made a head coach to soon but that as of right now he is as desired coach as there is.
And our info is largely driven by media so perhaps he is nothing like either of us is reffering to.

Ok I'll play!

Who will Lu be traded for? No one, he'll be our starting tender
Who will be the new coach of Canucks? Gulutzan
Where will AV land ? NYR
Where will Bowness land? Tampa
Where will Raymond land? Cowtown
What core player/s will be traded? Edler & Schneider
Who will be bought out? Booth
What rookies will make the Canucks next year? Gaunce, Corrado & Mallet

One thing that blows my mind about Gulutzan is he had 3 straight seasons as the Wrangler's head coach with winning %'s of .736 or higher (.778, .736, .736), and the top 2 scorers on those teams were different each year.

How is that even possible?

Apparently he is a workaholic. Endless hrs in the video room. I'll say I thought given what he had in Dallas I was impressed with their season

I care less about what he's done with Muzzin & Voyonov (Assistant Coach duties) and more about what I've been told about his weak leadership as a Head Coach which led to the Flyers re-tool.
- DrChristianTroy

Yeah, I'm not stoked about him either. I just can't get over the mess the Flyers were when he was in charge. I'd rather Cat Stevens

It's an opinion. If you can't handle those than maybe you should find a new website to frequent. If we end up hiring Ron Wilson are you gonna wait until he coaches a game before you have an opinion?

What the hell are you talking about Frances?

I'm sure as hell not going to bury a coach before he coaches a game - thats my opinion, if you cant handle that then stick that pole up your arse a little further. (frank)in bipolar, irrational Canuck fans make me wanna bunch a baby......

Is he a huge RW fan?

I can't believe that with all the poop that goes down on these boards we are going to draw the line about criticizing potential coaching candidates.

We probably shouldn't ever criticize Patrick White since he's never played a game.

Oh is it? You guys sound like a bunch of women. Seriously. At this point, who cares who coaches. They have the same bag of poop to deal with. I'd prefer to see whomever they hire deal with it before I throw that coach under the bus......

I'm hoping for Gulutzan personally, but, if it is Stevens, I'm sure he's a better coach today than he was three years ago. He's a bright guy and not incapable of learning...for whatever it's worth.

What's your deal? You started this crap. You jumped all over a guy for saying he's not a fan of a coach. When he says that's his opinion you get bit©hy again.

So it's irrational to have a choice of who you want to coach your team, yet female doging for a guy to get canned 40 games in isn't. Thanks for the lesson in rationality.
