Markov is 34...in two years he'll be 36...he's had a few injuries, some of them freak injuries that won't happen again...

IF he stays healthy, there's no reason to think he can't be effective for another 4 or 5 years...although it shouldn't be at the same salary...

Also, I think next year he'll actually be faster/smoother on his skates than this year...
