Tretiak was great in the MHL, saw him 3 times. Big, really mobile and plays like Quick just makes the saves. Lets ins some real stinkers though when he's half on his stomach sprawling. Reason people don't think highly of him is he got shelled in the U17's. Though the other goalie didn't fare much better and that Russian defense was pathetic.

Pretty much what I heard. Big kid, technically very strong and did very well at the tournament in Maine. Like to see Halifax draft him.
Import draft is a bit a of a crap shoot at the best of times. You never can be sure who will come over.

Well, we never watched it.

When I turned on the Apple TV, it asked me to take an upgrade, so I did.

Then it wanted me to connect it to iTunes and I didn't have the proper cord.

All my fault, yadda, yadda, yadda, zzzzzzzzzzzz....

Halifax's 1st 3 picks were from Lac St-Louis midgets
- habs12

I bought hockeyprospect's draft guide, here's what they were saying for them. I don't follow Midget AAA much, outside of the top ranked players.

Lac-St-Louis is always a strong team as far as MAAA go as they have a huge pool of players and even attract guys from the outside. Louis Leblanc, Anthony Duclair, Jonathan Drouin, Anthony Deluca come from there.

Maxime Fortier is small player who has a lot of talent and the
abilities to be a successful offensive player at the next level. He
is an excellent skater who can generate a lot of speed in two
strides and create space on the ice. He also has magical hands
that he uses well in one-on-one situations. His talent level is
clearly above the average in Midget hockey, and he uses every
second he is given on the ice to make the most of it. He wants
the puck on his stick and does a good job carrying it in the neutral
zone. He makes the defense back up and he has a precise
wrist shot that could be fired a little bit faster. He does a good
job getting open in the critical spaces to score goals. Fortier’s
vision and anticipation sense is excellent and allows him to set
up teammates nicely. However, he prefers to keep the puck for
himself most of the time. He does a good job taking hits along
the boards as a puck protector and will even initiate contact at
times. His biggest weakness is definitely his work ethic. He
doesn’t move his feet a lot when he doesn’t have the puck,
thus resulting in bad defensive play from him. He also needs
to open his mind about passing the puck to teammates a little
bit more. He is a talented that could be a worthy draft pick if
he improves and is more consistent.

Ford is a defensive defenseman who was a stabilizing presence
on an offensive squad for Lac St-Louis this season. He keeps
his play simple and rarely pushes the play offensively because
of limited abilities with the puck. He’s not a flashy player on
the ice and you don’t get to see him a lot but he makes life
hard for opposing players. He doesn’t give up much space defensively
deep in the zone and without being intimidating, he
initiates physical contact. He has satisfying speed as a skater
but is not very explosive. He relies on intelligence to handle
faster players coming at him. He’s stable on his skates and
makes quick pivots. He makes a good use of his stick to control
passing lanes and is positioned properly to block shots on
the penalty kill. He uses the board a lot when he has the puck
but is also able to make good reads when the play develops in
the middle of the ice. He creates almost no turnovers. His slapshot
is powerful and creates a lot of rebounds for teammates
when he uses it. He doesn’t have much confidence offensively
and prefers to keep it simple, which serves him really well.

Watt is a power forward who brings a physical element to the
game despite his moderate size. He needs to play a North-
South type of game in order to be effective. He’s very tenacious
on the forecheck and hits opposing defensemen constantly
in puck pursuit. His hits are powerful and heavy along
the boards. He showed good speed going forwards, and good
explosion. He has a natural knack to score goals and has an excellent
wrist shot which he fires without warning when he
doesn’t see other options. He has limited vision but above average
abilities with the puck to go along with good puck protection.
He creates most of his scoring opportunities from working along the boards and close to the net. We question his hockey sense, as he makes bad decisions with the puck at times and is often too attracted by puck movement from a defensive standpoint. He also needs to be more consistent offensively
because he can become a marginal player we don’t see
much when you take away his energy and physical play.
