Listening to people talk, and pretend they know what they're talking about, I've decided other than the top 5, I'm not going to speculate on who is going where. There are always quite a few surprises anyway.

According to Paul Hamilton the draft always plays out how they predict...

I'd put Leino at the top. When healthy, he's a decent supporting player. But given his health and the deal he had, I think he's a CBO candidate. I'd trade him for any value.
- jmatchett383

The thing that could make Leino viable for some teams is that even though his cap hit is pretty high his overall salary isn't that bad. He has 4 more years on his deal at 4.5M cap hit but he is probably only due about $12M over that time as we front end loaded the hell out of it. So a team that is lower in cap could pick him up without having to pay him a lot.

Just noticed this was already talked about, anyone actually know what Lieno has left in actual dollars on his contract? I can't seem to find it.

Ignore that he still have $15M over 4 years, I wouldn't want him for that.

How fitting that Iginla's desperation shot went right into Rask's glove at the buzzer.

Assuming Leino is healthy (which is a big assumption) I would consider keeping him. Who on our team can do what he does? We don't have another puck possessing forward on our entire team. If he could play a full season and get 40-50 points with his puck possession skills I'd say he'd earn his keep. He was our best forward in many of the games he managed to play this past season.

So 2 goals in 14 periods by the Penguins...I'm starting to think they might become one of the top 4 or 5 teams that will be in on Vanek.

the trades they made at the deadline made them look great on paper

reality is it made them a much slower team IMO

where is the poster that said the bruins would miss the play offs because rask was over rated and destined to fall on his ass this season

I got into a 3 day pissing contest with him over that, at least he can show his face

Yea I think so too. They've got to make a big move this summer though, get someone other than Kunitz and Dupuis to play with Crosby and add a little speed to their bottom six.

To be fair he also had Colorado as a sleeper team in the west, and Carolina and TB in the playoffs..... But hey can't win them all

According to Pens fans guys like Kunitz and Dupuis would be in most teams top 6. I had an argument with a few of them. Praise Dupuis yet call Ennis a mediocre player. So funny that when BOS shut down Malkin and Crosby, Dupuis, Kunitz, and Neal disappeared as well

Someone who literally pissed everyone off the first month or so on the site, since then hasn't been so bad.

Isn't that same guy who tried to convince everyone that Datsyuk was overrated and wasn't a complete player?

Stop.

Boston got Pittsburgh to play Boston's game. Had nothing to do with shutting any player on Pittsburgh down. Had Pittsburgh played Pittsburgh's game and not try be the tough guy, the series would still be going on. Boston gets teams to play down to their level.

If you run Chara every chance you get, Boston folds like an accordion. As Chara goes, Boston goes. Leave the rest of them alone.
