I will agree that most wings in buffalo are comperable. Depends on the cook and the sauce. Duffs South is better than any other Duffs.

Myers still has high Value. It's his productivity and quality of defense play that is low.

27 yrs old, 2.75 cap hit, 1.75 salary, 2 years left on his deal, can play 20+ mins a night, and plays in all situations.

If he were North American nobody would complain.

He's the very definition of streaky, offensively, won't hit and for whatever reason I just never see him make a play when it seems to count.

Soft Euro.

Everyone complained about Sekera until I pointed out just how good hes been for us before last summer.

When Rolston starts letting Myers get back to being an offensive defenseman and not a shut down guy, he will regain his form.

Stamkos said that he always works on his strengths more than weaknesses, because if he focuses purely on his weaknesses he doesnt get to improve his strengths.

Thats what I feel happened to Myers this year. Seems the coaches wanted him to be this shutdown bone crushing dman, and thats not his strength. He should be a big smooth skating puck moving offensive defenseman.

He's also worth something to discerning GMs, and we have a number of younger D that will be looking for opportunities.

I doubt that. Which team in the top 5 is going to set the dealbreaker on a solid player in his prime. Its not what they need either.

Maybe if someone wants sekera for a player trade, sure, but the sabres are not really in the position to be making player trades. unless its young guy for young guy at other position

only postive I can say on sukerra is hes improved over the last few years. Hes a good offensive player when he hits the net but that is about 2% of his shots

You dont notice it because youre focusing on his mistakes. When you dislike something, you dont look for the positives.

Why does he have to hit so much? You dont have to deliver big hits to be effective.

Thats fine that you want that type of defenseman. But if we dont have anyone in that mold, you cant expect that of the guys we have.
