There's going to be such a glut of goaltending talent available this off-season I think there won't be much being offered up in trade, too many other options. The Ducks best bet might be to wait and deal him at the trade deadline next season if they really want to move him.

As a Kings fan...I see one need the Duck really need. A stay at home defenceman! Any one of your goalies would have been much better with stopping power in the way!

Don't recall who it was but a good source said on Twitter that Thomas would definitely not be playing in the NHL next season.. perhaps Mirtle?

Apparently there's a stronger chance that he plays in Europe instead.

If the Flyers buy out Bryzgalov, Hiller in a tandem with Mason would be a good thing. I am thinking a 60/40 or 70/30 split of all matches in a season. What do you guys think the price will be?

Also, if we could get Bobbarh Ryab!!! I would go into a season-long period of salivating. :-P odd of him being traded? And at what cost?

This of course does not solve Phillys real problem, but would just make it more awesome. :-P

Would be expensive,

Couturier, 2013 1st, decent player/prospect

Offer any less and you won't get Bobby Ryan IMO

Totally agree but sadly we have a terrible gm. His attempts the past few years at a stay at home d have been andy sutton and bryan allen. Still can't forget about Nick Boynton

I'm on the fence about Gibby next year...he could do well or he could develop in the AHL. Fasth and Hiller could survive for one more year, then in 2014-2015 Fasth could show Gibby the ropes and Hiller could test the waters as a UFA

Move Hiller & Ryan to Buffalo for Miller/Staffod and the 16th pick in the draft. Miller has one more year before Gibson/Fasth take over next year, plus Miller will be extremely motivated to stay out west.
