I thought Morrow was very noticiable tonight. I'd keep him in the lineup. Cooke looked good on the 2nd line as well. I wouldn't change a thing for next game (I'm afraid to put Despres now that the series is on the line
- Orpik44

On the line Orpik? It was on the line tonight, we've got nothing left to lose. 47 all day over 2. Look what Bennett gave tonight, he was great. HCDB needs to come down off his pedestal and play the best players and #2 is not one of them.

I go with this one, hook or not. That's effing hockey especially in the playoffs.

And I almost broke my foot, but after a heated walk realized 68 finally came back and screwed us.

We played out a$$es off. I give the boys credit from the 2nd on they battled the way they needed to from game 1.

Rask is making all the difference, and their D won't allow the chances we had vs. NYI and Ott.

The PP set up was atrocious. 4 left handed shots on PP #1. WTF.

Or Bennett, who objectively was better than Iginla tonight.

Jagr is great, he knew he wouldn't get called there at the end. Savvy veteran move.
- Gunner Staal

yep .. he's obviously lost a step, but it's those little things he does that keeps him being a threat.

HOF player, twice over.

I'm sorry gents, but BERGY is my boy!!!! Lmao, I'm sorry but I thought we looked better as the game went on. We look Super clutch. Again, I'm sorry. But the bits, including my boy bergy, I have a bergy jersey and i am a homer fan and have a huge believe that he is a AMAZING TOP TEN PLAYER IN THE NHL.

IF CROSBY IS THE TOP PLAYER IN THE WORLD AND MALKIN IS THE SECOND BEST-PLAYER IN THE WORLD,

Or this. Really thought Martin should have been quarterbacking the first PP as well. Oh well, most likely not our year. I really would like to see a new coach with a fresh set of eyes.

Two freaking goals in nearly 11 periods of hockey. The PP did come back and haunt them. They had their chance. What an immense letdown. To end the season this way is unacceptable.

Rask was just phenomenal. I'm going to hear clanging and binging in my nightmares for a while. Damn posts. And screw you Leafs for not holding that lead!!

he's a threat in as much as you have to respect him when he has the puck.

he doesn't have the speed anymore to drive the net, or cause a 2 on 1 ... but his experience and savvy is enough that it always looks like something MIGHT happen when he has control of the puck.

Reputation doesn't make plays. He hasn't made plays and quite frankly has rarely looked in control with the puck. Part of that has been him playing out of position.

Glad we traded for some guy that I heard was OK, At least he played with Bennett, another right handed shot on the 2nd unit. While the entire left side of the ice wasn't even touched.

Thanks DDDAAAAAANNNNNNNNN

Iginla still hasn't earned a contract from the pens...
I see next year as
Iginla, Morrow gone
Dupuis Cooke back and Bennett full time
Murray may stay

Ugh....bergs,...I may have an issue in my pants. Crosby and malkin are the best regular season players in the league, but we have the best two ways in the WORLD IN THE PLLAYOFFS in my opinion. Gooooo bruins!!!!!

depends on the coaching situation. it honestly does IMO. If bylsma is back, I agree with you.

If we get a real coach, I see Iginla, Dupuis, Murray back for sure. If we trade a guy like MAF or Letang and get the room... maybe you see Cooke stay. wouldn't mind Morrow if it was for under 2 million and 1 year.

I know what you mean and understand it. Bennett was a lot better than I expected. Next season he'll be a staple on our top 6. Right now, I'd just leave the lineup how it was tonight. We did play well...one big mistake by Nisky/Letang made the difference.

he sometimes looked 5 years past his prime, for sure ... but the Pen's know what he's capable of. They still have to respect the experience.

it's been a hell of a season for us.

1. that night we got iginla was pure chaos.
2. the winning streak.
3. the islanders series
4. vokoun saving us
5. beau Bennett getting welcomed to the party.

its been a fun ride. it probably wont end in the way we wanted, but just glad we had a season.

I know at times we've all called for Iginla to play on Crosby's wing, but honestly he's done nothing to earn that spot.

TK in for Vitale. Despres in for Engellend. Doesn't matter at this point, but would like to see it anyhow.

Bennett played a solid game. Kid is a keeper for sure.
