In all honestly there's only a few FA available that we should look at, but Snow should finally look into trades to upgrade this team.

the buzz I keep hearing, which I hope is true is Minn is up against the cap, and might not be able to sign their RFA an UFA, where Clutterbuck would be my target for this team....

before this yr, I think he scored 20 goals......

- Ur Not Me

I think Stalberg from Chicago could be a steal...size, speed and can score...

I'd definitely like him but I don't think anyone should get too overhyped on him. If he was that good CHI would be bending over backwards to re-sign him. He's a decent 2nd line good 3rd line player.

I think we should be focusing on defense more than anything first.

This is an awesome GIF, but I wonder if anyone else feels it's funny that folks starting questioning Vokoun. He's the only reason they've gotten as far as they have and has actually played pretty damn well this series. It's not his fault Pittsburgh's defense can't budge Lucic from the crease. Not to mention Pittsburgh can't score on Chara and the gang.

Agreed...if they left MAF in, we'd have had a better than even chance to beat them in seven games. He was bad and getting worse. They only stink right now because they're facing a team that ACTUALLY plays defense....let that be a lesson to anyone involved with the running of our team......just saying. Plus, Rask is up there with Rinne, Quick and Lundqvist as one of the best goalies in the league, which doesn't hurt.

the double standard here is sometimes hilarious...viktor stalberg has had amazingly similar numbers to KO and 95% of us were running KO out of town for the past 2 years prior to this seasons last 1.5 months...

i guess some people just get bored of the same guys and like seeing new faces. VS would be a nice addition but if the isles go for into the playoffs next season it wont be bc HE was signed

Well, Ryan Miller is not a UFA, so we're only getting two of those anyway...

That was bcs of of his lackadaisical play more than his numbers. Okposo is actually played like Stahlberg during the playoffs with a little more edge.

Horton was my preference for us to target via free agency this year, but I doubt it happens. After the win the cup, he'll want a big payday (yeah, I said win the cup, I've been saying it all year).

And as for my overall prediction that Pittsburgh wouldn't be able to hang with Boston

I hope he comes out with that fire at the start of the season next year. I'm hoping this past playoff experience ignites a couple of these guys from the get go next season

Some speculation by Dreger that if the Pens lose in 4-5 games, and they will, Malkin could possibly become tradeable. Also saying KHL would offer him $15 mil per season to come home.

Now, what would you offer to put him on a wing with JT?

Dreger is out of his friggen mind if he honestly thinks that. Crosby is silly awesome, but his health will always be a question after the amount of head issues he has had. Malkin is insurance.

But if it were true... there isn't much I wouldn't offer
