Stanley Cups
Fleury = 1
Vokoun = 0

- Killian

Lundqvist doesn't have a Cup. So, you take Fleury over him? What a joke you are. I go by record, save percentage, the guy more apt to win the game and give up fewer leaky goals and the goalie that the team plays harder in front of.

Common sense

If that's the case, then Dan DESERVES to be fired if we lose this series.
- Killian

I think this is the right call, he deserves to be fired for leaving better players in the press box than the ones he puts on the ice.

Hard to believe BB or Despres can't get some ice time with Nisky, Joki, Morrow....well heck the whole team playing bad games.

You are incredibly misguided on the subject, sorry.
- Gunner Staal

Regarding the goalie situation? yes

Regarding Bylsma with a series loss? not so sure he is misguided

No. DP looks to much like Jesus, hell be turned away at the gates. Reincarnated as the Isles starting goalie in 3021.

Really, REALLY serious room. "We know what we have to do," Brandon Sutter just told me. "We feel like we're in a good place."

LMFAO, yea you need to win a freaking game. Down 0-2 we got them right where we want them.

MAF brought this on himself. How is Bylsma responsible for MAF's abysmal play? He solidified his backup status on the first shot he faced when he came on in relief in game 2. He's been nothing short of brutal outside of game 1 of the Islanders series whenever he has played this post season.

I'm ok with Vokoun in, he's the safe choice, Fleury would be a gamble, who knows what performance he would put out, I just wanted to see it happen. Anyways the coach has made his bed.... The players better play the best game of their life,
Sid has to be on fire....
Neal I better see you skating...
Iginla if I see another puck in your skates that your fumbling with...
Niskanen and Letang just make short makeable passes and dont get out of position....

Why? You are the guy who says this should go by who has won the more Cups. Fleury back then is way better than Fleury today in the play-offs. His abortion of a series against the Flyers last year; his same performance against the Islanders this year, save game 1 and the three gift goals he gave up in game two.

This is on you champ. You are the one that said Fleury should start because he has won a cup and Vokoun hasn't. That makes utterly no sense.

You are a joke. Dan is putting in the best goalie he can to win a game. He is basically trying to not only get back in the series, but trying to save his own job. Fleury has been TERRIBLE the last two years in the play-offs, save one game. He, Bylsma hasn't ruined him. Fleury's fragile mind has ruined himself. Any sane person who wants the Pens to get back in the series, puts Vokoun in net. For some odd reason, you want a sive in net in Fleury, one who most assuredly would get us down 3-0 in games if he started tonight. Stats don't lie champ. The eyes don't lie either. Are you forgetting all the soft goals Fleury has allowed. They did happen.

Right now, I'm not sure who is someone that should get laughed at more - you for this craziness and not seeing the obvious, or Toronto and Edmonton fan saying Malkin for Kommasarek and a fifth; or Letang for Hemsky straight up.

Ray Shero will not have a 5M cap hit on the roster that does not play in important games. The goalie decision today certainly had input from Shero.

Fleury will not be with the Penguins for the long term. Whether that is amnesty or a trade or whatever.

I'm bummed as a Penguins fan that it came to that but business is business and his play does not warrant a commitment anymore.

He is one of the easiest guys in the entire league to root for, and I will always root for him, but his time in Pittsburgh is all but over with.

Shero has a choice: Letang, Malkin or Fleury.... Pick 2

Pretty simple but that's the choice, Pens are ok for next year but that 5 mil for 2014-15 is gonna be pretty important for the rest of the team if that player isn't putting out good performances.

Malkin is the only certainty.

Letang has unknown variables (his contract).

Fleury is gone.

Fleury is a regular season goalie now. It's pointless to shell out that much dough for a guy that can get you to the play-offs then fall apart when the pressure is really on.

Fleury Vokoun, I don't really care. If the 18 guys not wearing pads in front of them put up a performance like they did in game 2 we could have a mutant form of Patrick Roy, Martin Broduer and Terry Sawchuck in net and it wouldn't stop them from getting their asses kicked.

The writing is certainly on the wall, and unfortunately after his performance on Monday my MAF wall banner is no longer on that wall.
