Yes. Aren't both Vanek and Miller? - jmatchett383
I was asking as I remembered Carolina holding all the cards and Pitt none at the time, as many people thought Pitt got a ton back considering that situation. |
|
|
|
I like the idea... Vanek would prosper there... 2 1sts seems steep to me though? - JVince11
Well, its not like its a top 10 first round pick. Plus we are giving up our 2nd (likely early 2nd round) and retaining 50% of his salary this year.
Sheahan is a guy the Sabres wanted over Pysyk |

That's true, as he basically made it known he was leaving after the season. |

It was #8, Sutter and a D prospect. It was a massive overpayment. |

not if it keeps your franchise player in town |
|

That's fine. What if he's able to take great players away from the puck but has horrible puck management skills that lead to in-zone turnovers and constant icings? To be a great defenseman, you have to be able to plays defense and then help the transition to offense. - jmatchett383
I mean, typically if you have the skill and talent to be able to shut down other teams top lines, you're not going to be a plug when it comes to controlling the puck, moving it up ice to your players and having good IceQ. |

Detroit is constantly trading their 1st round pick. For players or for moving back in the draft.
In this deal, they are replacing 2014 1st with BUF 2014 2nd. So they dont really lose on that pick. They lose their 2013 1st though.
DET doesnt make that trade unless they have intentions of resigning him. |

Well, Kaleta would actually have to shut other teams top lines down consistently, he doesnt. |

Seeing as how i only wrote a trade deal because matchett asked... You should read more and post less...
Also... Usually after 6 hours you should see a doctor for raging hard ons.... Its been months... Get a life or dont reply to me or about me..
Your posts are as useful as Anne Franks drum set...
Thanks... Have a great day |

Anybody that wants to blame Pittsburgh's woes on *goaltending* is just looking for an easy out.
The last two contests have seen the B's dominate in almost ever facet of the game. Pittsburgh looked like a bunch of beer-leaguers last night running around (and into each other) like they didn't know which way was up.
Boston just flat out beat the Pens last night all over the ice and in my opinion, no goalie in the league would have made a difference in the outcome... |

Agreed. Not saying the Pens would have won, not did they deserve to. But that goal was a back-breaker. |

thank you for another day of adding nothign to conversations and only making direct attacks at people. You are an upstanding citizen - hubie
I don't make direct attacks at people. Everyone on here jokes around, myself included. I made a joke of a comment about his trade proposal, then he attacked me. And my response is again, a joke. Give me a break. Did I hurt your feelings? |

How can you blame the goalie on that though, its a clear breakaway? |
