Uh hasn't Kessel been top 10 scoring for the last couple years?

He said "defensive".

Pictured here is Tyler Lewington, a defenseman from WHL Medicine Hat that finished No. 66 on Central Scouting’s 2013 NHL Draft rankings list.

That was before he worked out, though.

The 6-foot-1, 189-pound Lewington finished atop the bench press competition (16 reps at 150 pounds), the push up competition (42), the push strength competition (341 pounds) and finished sixth in pull strength (296 pounds).

Didn't they just put the draft order by points from the regular season? So if the Senators even made it to the Conference finals and lost they still would have picked 17th because of there standing in points in the regular season.

It was part of the changes the NHL made in the new CBA.

If you make conference finals you drop down apparently. I don't know, haven't seen anything on it other that Hearsay on these boards.

Makes no sense.

Good.

Can he handle the puck or just push weight in a gym?

absolutely no idea.

just bored at work, copy and pasting anything i find

edit: 16 reps of 150 pounds doesn't seem all that impressive to me. I don't go to the gym, ever. But pretty sure I could do that

not sure how far richards stock has fallen, but gomez went from 8 million to league minimum. i'd be all in for anything even close to that

also now that torts is gone, contrary to ek's groundbreaking article about how he's a lock to stay. I wonder if Richards gets another year

Richards, only if you get him at a reasonable price and not more than 2 years.

No interest in the others.

yeah he would get that on the market so if you want him, you pay for him.

The thing is, I am not at all convinced he brings value to the team at this point. I would almost rather have Bozak.

yeah, even if he isn't completely done, I wonder if he hurts your team more than helps it.

We all know Torts is an ass, but Richards got benched when his team absolutely needed a win. That has got to say something.

Might have two years of 50 to 60 points in him.

Man I like you Avatars, but Richards>>>>>Bozak for the same money on a two year deal. Bozak is OK, but will never be a true #1 C. Richards still has the potential, if you put him between Lupul and Phil. IMO.

Could it be the Tortorella effect or he really sucked? Someone will take a chance.

No doubt.

I actually like him, but quite frankly, he did very little in the playoffs before being benched.
