NJ see's it in him too I do believe ..just the way i hear fans talk of him sounds like hes a player they rely on for the future

sounds like a good deal though, although hes probably the only guy id be interested in when it comes to trading our 3rd pick...i like the idea of staying young because thats what our team is all about..the future

Young. Larsson is my favorite young defenseman in the league right now. He's 20, and he'll be something special by 25.

What do you think about dealing for Myers? His trade value is probably at an all time low so there's a decent chance we could take'em to the cleaners (though I hear the Sabres GM is really stingy)

There was a Sabres fan in here who said that he/she would consider moving the 8th + Myers for the 3rd. I'd be allllll over that. I doubt Regier goes for that, though.

i think id be ok with that too, hes fairly young isnt he? 24-25? plus a solid drafty at the 8th pick would be good for us. for us its different, we dont have to rely on our draft pick to help our team up front because we have such strong prospects so grabbing a young stud defenseman and a pick within the top 10 is still extremely well for us

That would be awesome, from what I've read/heard fans are pretty much split on whether he can still be a top 2 guy or not. I'd bring it up in their message boards but after reading through it once I firmly believe in the idea of internet assault, it gets pretty nasty in there

Arty keeps all the mean folks away, and we generally have some pretty good hockey discussion. The Canucks and Sabres threads can get pretty bad at times.

If their guy is gone by three, then all bets are off. The issue with trying to predict anything, in my opinion, is that they may have more than one guy on the radar. If MacKinnon and Jones are first and second in some order, I still think that Yzerman will look at Nichushkin or Drouin. If either MacKinnon or Jones slips to three, he would be foolish to trade the pick.
