I've agreed with you on many occasions. Generally, I'm as hard as anyone on this Lightning team when things need critiquing. This hire, though, is a good one. Like I said in the blog - it was time for a change in Vancouver, but that doesn't take away from what Bowness and Vigneault managed to accomplish there. You don't get to where Bowness is by being bad at your job. That's reality.

IF we're trading out (unlikely but still) I would target Buffalo and New Jersey. Stay in the top 10 and grab one of Myers or Larsson.

Young. Larsson is my favorite young defenseman in the league right now. He's 20, and he'll be something special by 25.

EDIT - Like IceGirl said, I'd be shocked if they move him.

cool, a solid young defenseman who is talented (what we need) ....we also need physicality ... and on top of it all we still have a shot at a highly skilled drafty inside the top 10. NJ see's it in him too I do believe ..just the way i hear fans talk of him sounds like hes a player they rely on for the future

sounds like a good deal though, although hes probably the only guy id be interested in when it comes to trading our 3rd pick...i like the idea of staying young because thats what our team is all about..the future
