Whatcha gonna do

When he goes 12 games without scoring for you?

If Boyes is similarly priced(big if), he'd be an option. Antropov has always been a guy that seemed to be of interest to the Flyers. Neither is especially appealing, to me.

antropov is probably interesting to holmger because he always scores against them.

Letang has been horrendous so far.

I've been told by the media that Kris Letang is good at defensive hockey, but I have yet to see evidence of that in the dozens of games I've seen him play.

Like most defenseman, they get exposed when there is a lack of a team game played. It's a very difficult position to play when there is no support.

Oh, I hear you.....

I think Letang is a good offensive defenseman, but I don't think much of his overall game and never really understood his elevation in the minds of hockey media to elite, Norris trophy caliber status.

Well the Norris is normally heavily weighted to the offensive side. I think Letang is a solid defender. But not a shutdown defender by any means. So much of the game today is passing and handling the puck. It's a possesion game. And players like Letang, Subban, Doughty, they drive the possession game. That's what makes them so valuable.
