He has...Norris finalist my ass.

It's amazing how bad the Pens forwards are defensively, though. At least two of the Bruins goals are due to piss poor backchecking

- Jsaquella

The Pens are just being exposed when they try to attack. The Bruins are making them pay for the mistakes and the lack of effort. The Pens look terrible (like last year against the Flyers defensively).

I love Iggy, but he's not an alpha dog anymore

If they think a certain veteran leadership was lost when Jagr wasn't resigned, crazier things could happen. I don't think it is likely either in the end.

No doubt. Boston is much more discipline than the Flyers on defense.

they have zero chemistry, it's kind of shocking

I think if they get swept Bylsma walks the plank.

They're being lazy, too. A few minutes ago, Nate Horton stopped near the blueline in the Pens' zone, Malkin drifted by with a little "Ole" move and didn't even stop to press Horton.

On the 3rd goal, Matt Cooke simply stopped skating altogether and watched the Bruins score.

Who would have thought Torts and Bylsma walk the plank and Lava survives, would have made some good money on that trifecta.

Most definitely. No excuses for that this late in the playoffs.

It stems from Chiarelli. He had a plan, got guys to fit that plan and he's a brilliant GM, besides.

Crosby's made some horrendously bad defensive mistakes.

The only two Pens that have really played worth a poop are Kennedy and Vitale.

After the last few seasons, it's hard to have a lot of faith they can turn it around. Even if they tighten it up, the Bruins are a championship level team, that knows how to win games.

Not only that, but they still have to play Fleury or Vokoun in net...Neither guy has looked good.

I wouldn't classify the Bruins d core as exactly a mobile juggernaut, interesting what a sound defensive system with forwards being responsible can do.

Also, Hamilton may turn into something special, but Krug is in the top 6 now.

Yup. Rask on the other hand has looked really good in this series so far.

I still think the Hawks are going to be tough to beat. I think they will expose either of these East teams.

I would agree with that. I do think however that the Flyers d-core even with the injuries is good enough with a sound defensive gameplan and forwards committed to back checking.

Chara's still a beast, even though he's struggled at points. But they have solid guys throughout and the entire team is committed to team defense. If you have forwards that do their job for 200 feet it makes the defense look better.

The Pens have had chances in these two games but Rask has made some big saves even when his defense hasn't been up to par.

If he doesn't adapt, he'll be wearing make-up and talking to the cameras for TSN's Winter Classic coverage
