depending on the week.. usually about 2x a week and increasing.. getting calls to do mid week shows and sunday evening shows now.. which are generally flat rate gigs.. which is always nice

funniest thing i have seen was a few years back.. quiet night at some small town tavern.. hardly anyone in there.. but this lil 100lb 80-something old man got up to dance with this 300 plus pound native woman.

first thing that happened was she decided to pull her top up and flash the whole bar.. the band i was in was in the middle of a 3 part harmony and we all reacted the same way. we all went stopped singing at the exact same time and said "OHHH" right into the mics.. our disgust was in harmony.. rather funny looking back.

anyways, she eventually pulled her shirt down and they started spinning each other around.. it was inevitable as to what happened next.

they fell over.. she landed right on top of the lil guy.. i thougght he was dead or at least injured to the point of hospitalization.. it wasnt pretty... but as soon as she rolled herself off of him he popped right up and went to the bar and got himself a whiskey.
