The top 5 is pretty much a lock of being Jones, MacKinnon, Drouin, Barkov/Nichuskin, and Nichuskin/Barkov.
And that trade is just laughable... One of Miller or Vanek will have to be included to get into the top 5, lest we trade every single prospect we have.

Its funny how that the leafs do nothing for almost a decade then some how they make the playoffs and leafs fans think their all that and a bag of chips. As a sabres fan i think it was great that the leafs made the playoff because in my opinon the leafs sabres rivalry has gotten kind of stail and i think it could be a better rivalry if both team where at the top.

I would Like to see them trade up and get the 4th and 5th picks and then pick Barkov and Nichushkin.. Trade Miller to a team in the top 15 maybe like Islanders or Arizona. Now you Have 3 First Round Picks 2 Seconds and Players like Ennis and Stafford. I would throw Stafford, Myers and the 16th pick to Nashville. Ennis the 8th a Second and a prospect to Carolina. Plus if you could trade Miller that's another pick draft a defensive player.A player like Pulock should be around there. Just wishful thinking.

I am not able to spell some of the the names right without googling them and I see them all the time on this site. So many European names. Also, when we read fast, we see the first letter and last letter and identify the word/name.

We use those other two picks to grab Mantha & Erne
Then, trade into the 1st again (use our 2nds) to grab Rychel

That would give us 4 new forwards & 1 defenseman prospect

Agreed. We have a number of options. I trust the scouting department to pick the right guys more than I have in the past. Pegula has invested a lot of money into scouting

It's not that, at all. I was talking about NAMES. Of PEOPLE. There's no excuse for spelling Mackinnon wrong... Unless you're speaking Russian Cyrillic, then there is no excuse for saying Valeri Nichushkin's name in any other way. It's simple.
