Oh, ok. They would have to give up more then Cizikas and depending on what they wanted I would probably do it. Even though Cizikas is everything this team has been looking for the last couple of years.

If you look at Boston, and how big, bad and mean that team is, I don't think the Rangers can close the door on bringing in an undesirable personalities. To be honest, if I thought it would make the Rangers a better team against Boston, I would be all for the Rangers bringing in Matt Cooke. I mean hell, almost the whole team is comprised of guys you wouldn't mind dating your daughter. It needs a guy that makes you want to get the shotgun out.

The Rangers need snarl, plain and simple.

we thought Asham and Haley would do that, but Asham turned out to be more skilled than we thought and Haley was buried. Clowe could be that guy, but not at the price point, years and $, he likely wants. Plus, the loss of a pick for him if he re-signs in NY.

Remember when Slats signed Brashear, he also went hard for Chris Neil & I believe Neil went back to Ottawa for less dough. I would still Love to see us get Neil. Kaleta or, Cooke? Not so much.
