A lot of it will depend on how things shake out. If a good player falls to 11, say a Lindholm or Monahan, I'd stay put. If Pulock or Horvat are there, I'd probably prefer standing pat, as well.

Depends on the offer as well. I wouldn't trade out of the top 15-20 unless I got at least a couple of additional 2nd rounders or more.

I agree, I think I have just as many in mind to be happy about at #41 that I would be at #11.

That could be doable....there's good value there, although it's a hard draft to mock, because after the top 4 or 5, it could go several different ways. We could see a run on defensemen and have several good forwards waiting at 11. There could be several teams going BPA, which still leaves good players at 11. We're likely to see a reach or two.

I'm looking forward to Carolina and Calgary to help make our selection interesting.

Keep forgetting about Curtis Lazar he's another to consider.

What about Shea Theodore? He seems to be climbing the prospect rankings. I don't know much about him.

Another players game I like he's now getting later 1st round talk.

A scout told me this about him when I asked.

"Great size. Great skater. Bomb of a shot. Some questions defensively but high upside for Theodore."

I personally wouldn't but will not say it doesn't have a chance of happening.

Hey, man, How's everything going? Haven't had the chance to talk to you for awhile. Hope all is good.

All is well, thanks! Wifeskippy is in her 37th week and we just had more appointments. Baby is estimated to be between 7.5 to just over 9 pounds and we still have 2.5 weeks to go. M4 was 6.5 pounds when he was born, but was 22" long. They could have had him delivered via fax machine. So... this pregnancy is much different.

I was going to "stick around" here after posting but I needed to run to Arby's for a craving.

Work has been notified that I'm taking 1 - 2 weeks of FMLA leave to bond with the baby. It'll be 2 weeks if the baby is delivered via C-section.

How are you?

Call me crazy but I get the feeling Seth Jones is going to fall in the draft and here is why....These top teams picking early are looking for immediate returns which they will get with Mckinnon, Drouin, Barkov. Just a hunch but I wouldnt be surprised at all to see Jones at say 4 or 5.

I think his being picked #1 is an in-Av-itability.
