Yeah,I just don't want to get too excited either way. I still remember "The greatest Hockey Player not in the NHL", Jiri Dopita. Was the king of the Czech leagues year after year and did absolutely nothing with his Canadian Tire wooden hockey stick once he came to the NHL.Then there's "The Monster"!. Still, there just has to be diamonds out there that are made for NHL hockey but haven't had the opportunity to prove it yet.Maybe Belov is one of those guys, but the odds are that he might,at best, be a decent bottom pairing guy,nothing more. This is a total low risk,high reward move by Mac T. If this guy sucks,it won't matter, if he's the next Janne Ninniimaa-great!

I'm a huge hockey fan, and I cut no corners. I believe that in order to reach my level of hockey knowledge, one must experience the game first-hand. One must consume the energy within the arena, and gauge the emotions of the crowd. Because of this hard work and dedication, I have gained a reputation on this site for being a "go-to" guy. Sure, traveling all over the world has been no easy task, but when it comes to knowing my stuff, and being able to produce meaningful (and most importantly, accurate) posts on Hockeybuzz, it clearly gives me a clear advantage over all of these Zorches... It was well worth it.
