I liked Komarov. I'm not opposed to re-signing him.

But if we don't, I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

The guy could be replaced easily.

- Atomic Wedgie

well, you'd think, but what he brings is something Leafs haven't been able to find for a while. Would be nice if he could score 10-15G too of course... but EVERYBODY wants guys like that.

Bruce...

Please ban Howrad.

He's implying that I think $100 bills smell like syrup.

Thanks...

Steve.

if you can upgrade your bottom 6 for a reasonable price like Mclemment or Gordon then why not. If you have players in the system like Colborne, they still have to earn a spot, if they are better then they will be playing.

Is Mclemment the leafs best FA signing since Burke took over? probably..and it might not even be close. A few people liked it at the time, most crapped on it because it wasnt a sexy signing. the leafs probably dont make the playoff without him.

ya guys with size who can win faceoffs aren't important. I mean, hell, Leafs didn't win a single faceoff in the last 5 mins of regulation in game 7, and that didn't hurt them at all I don't think...

1) Team effort
2) Bozak was dead
3) Phaneuf pussied out against chara
4) Reimer choked
5) Im still in denial and the leafs will win against the penguins and go to the finals

Would love to see Gordon as a third/fourth line centre.

Add Clarkson too, and we're in decent shape.

Let Bozak & Mac head for greener pastures...they were serviceable, but not worth investing in long-term

Also, what do you guys think are the chances that a Dion+ for Joe Thornton. I know a lot of people think that the Sharks are more likely to move Marleau(don't want him) but it just seems that Thornton would be a really good addition so long as we don't have to give up a future like Colborne at centre. I say so because despite Thornton being a great solution down the middle, his age is something that will become a factor in a couple years.

Only one player in the Leafs system plays like him, Brad Ross and he is not ready yet, so who is going to replace him?

You have Sam Carrick and Wil Acton but neither are true agitators like him.

- LeafMan

Any schmuck you grab as a UFA.

48 games, 4 goals, 5 assists. 2nd line PK unit. 18 minutes in penalties. 10th amongst forwards in TOI/G.

He's not the next Gretzky, Leafs Nation.

I actually think Joe Thorton will be moved over marleau. Marleau can play the wing and he is a key goal scorer for the club and has been a shark since he started his career. He will want to stay with the sharks. Joe Thorton is movable because Couture stays as first line centerman, and Pavelski moves to 2nd line centerman.
