I am pretty confident Bozak will get 4.25-4.5 a season. I just hope its not with Toronto, and if it has to be, for no more than 3 years. 2 is better. I think he gets a 5 year deal

I just think he has been used in a #1 Center role out of necessity, his stats are inflated 20% because the players he is with are much more talented.

last 3 seasons he has 134 points...for a guy playing with kessel, lupul, jvr - id say thats subpar.

agreed, a poop half season for grabo in a role that isnt met for his style of play/ skill set. he was ok at it, but hes much more valuable to the team in a production role. if he can put up 55-60 pts with kulemin and macarthur i have no doubt he will do well in a full season with legit top 6 wingers.

So the #1 that is grown on tree's is who? His stats are nothing in regard to the value he brings. I know that is tough to comprehend but I'm glad Leaf brass see's it bc he's on the ice all the time so they see the value.

The way RC rolls the lines, Kadri will get shot to play more minutes or on the 2nd line.
The leafs aren't going to be (or shouldn't be) gambling right now, they need and want to improve on the recent success/collaspe.
Its one player, becoming stagnant is not an outcome I see happening unless they stick with their current staff.

no.. the leafs should give their young guys prime opportunities so that in two or three years they will actually be successful in those roles.

this team is not a contender.. saying anything else is plain foolishness.. keep building.. you cant start trying to build the fourth story of a house before the third story is complete so to speak

i think bozak is gone.

i just hope we land clarkson to replace mac, if we can get a 3/4th line faceoff specialist you can work colborne in, and have mcclemment play any role in bottom 6. - top 6 if injury (for a couple games).
