Are 29 other coaches being hailed as the next one? For the record I never said he wasn't a good coach. I really have no idea if he is or not. He hasn't been a head coach for very long and has been given plenty of NHL contracts to work with.

cause everybody else thinks it refers to "the next coach to graduate from the AHL to the NHL" - which is kinda how it works.

Here's a crazy thought. Leafs have major issues signing Kessel after letting Bozak walk. Given that Kessel is much younger, think we could work out a sign and trade with Vancouver to grab the Sedin's who are UFA's after this season as well? I could see Bozak signing in Vancouver this off season.

Very good record with the Marlies. Kadri spent a lot of time with him and played well this year. Actually the last two seasons the Leafs had very solid contributions from Marlies players in general. Seems to be widely considered a very good young coach with NHL upside. Being looked at by the Canucks and apparently has been on the radar for other NHL teams in the past. Seems like a solid asset to me.
