No, Tippett is a very good coach. Saying a defensive style isn't conducive to the Rangers. It never has been. I certainly wouldn't pay a dime to watch a defensive style Rangers team that has all the resources in the world to bring in talent. It's boring. Phoenix doesn't have that luxury ... playing that style probably is for the best there.

actually this is Sather's screw up, especially when he made sarcastic comments about player concussions. Drury, Sauer, Staal, Clowe, ....and several others were concussed because of the Torts-Sather approach to making players overachieve.

You can say this club has the best goalie but Quick, Niemi, Rask and others have all performed at the necessary level to win a cup. The forward combinations were a total mess.

and then your comment about Quick, Niemi and Rask playing up to level. How does Rask fit in there, he hasn't done anything yet. Niemi and Quick played extremely well on extremely good teams.
