They can't start the series before the West is done. Then if an East team was to sweep and the West went 7 it would be an even longer break for the East team before the final. This isn't new, it's not the league's fault the East finalists steamrolled through the 2nd round and the West went to 7 in both. I don't get why everyone is so worked up about it. Now scheduling game 6&7 b2b is ridiculous, I have a problem with that.

No, I get that completely....but they could have started this series Thursday night instead of Saturday, the West still would have been done, and there would have been no need for the back to back
