Ability of Pens to shut down Torey Krug
I bet you didn't think you would be typing that a week ago. |

I could have voted for every choice as I can't wait to see all of it.
But I voted for the coaching match up. I'm really interested to see if Julien tries to match Bergy on Sid and if so does Bylsma try and get him away or is he happy with that.
Really pumped for this series. |

Not even five days ago. I mean 4 play-off games and all the sudden this guy is the next coming of Bobby Orr.

This is the series most everyone predicted. When the two teams first played, Boston was seen by many people as the favorites from the East.
I agree, there are so many sidebars to this series that it's hard to pick just one.

The forward/defense matchups are most interesting to me.
If the B's put Chara against the Malkin line, they need to hit him every single shift.
Likewise, it will be interesting to see if either of the Pens top two pairs handle Lucic well. Him being on the left side is a bit of an issue as the Pens more physical guys like Orpik & Murray usually are on the opposite side. |

I voted depth vs depth, and Malkin's first appearance vs the B's.
Malkin is a huge key for the Pens in that he needs to play near top form and DOESN'T take stupid penalties.
On paper this series is going to be a beauty. I'm pretty sure most people expected these teams but how often does that actually happen?
Whom ever escapes this round is going to be both beaten up pretty bad but also battle hardened.
Wayyy too long of a layoff, Pens were really buzzing the last 2 vs Ottawa and really seemed to get better with every game.
I think the Superbowl has less of a layoff.

The West will be no different... Crazy to think that it's possible that neither Chicago or LA will be in the conference finals. I still think they both win, but as the cliche goes, with Game #7's anything is possible. |

I think they both win too. Detroit had their chance last night. |

Easy with the evaluations guys. we have like another week to debate all of this. Just focus on one match up per day. Today lets focus on Rask vs Vokoun. Who has the advantage? |

San Jose is due. This is their year to get beat in the cup finals.
And you'd think Chicago has a good chance but lets be honest not many folks saw Detroit taking a 3-1 advantage. I won't count Detroit out until they are out. Does look like they are running out of gas but game 7 has a way of refueling the tank |

Maybe, but LA doesn't lose at home. I can't recall a team in recent memory so dominant at home and so putrid on the road. |

How bad does that late Game #2 loss hurt now for San Jose? |
