You guys should trade down, the run on d will come around where you pick, you could move back and take A forward
- sbroads24

I am not against that so long as we get the forward we want like I don't know the best draft sites but sometimes I have seen shinkaruk where we could get him others around the 13 spot same with Domi and to be honest I am just not sure I am that exited about getting to pick 9th with all the hype to the top 5 its like you don't even wanna think about guys around 9 you want the best most hyped guys after such a let down season and with an aging team but at the same time thing is every single team who didn't make the playoffs is trying to move up and like I said earlier the draft is in NJ we will wanna make a splash in front of our own fans but over paying for a roster player by giving up our 9th is not the answer if we can get I guess shinkaruk at ? I think he is the best forward that could be available at that point than I think that is what we need to do instead of giving a team like the sabres our 9th if they even want it for vanek cause that only solves a problem for a very short period of time

Yea well I am lazy and don't really come here to make sure my punctuation is up to par. It is a hockey site. I have posted like this since I started here and lots of people have replied to my posts without worrying about how many periods or commons I have (some do) but to be honest I could give a crap

I have a feeling there is going to be a ton of movement in this draft after pick 3. Especially is if TB picks Nichuskin

This

A lot of teams with multiple picks, combined with a very deep should make for a lot of movement. CBJ and CGY should be front and centre on the trade front. If Miller and Vanek are in play on draft day you can throw Buffalo in the mix too. Also Edmonton looks keen on making something happen with that 7th pick so I'd throw their name in.

I don't know what to believe with that guy I mean some say if he wasn't 6 foot 4 he might go in the twenties some say he is like Ovie or Malkin, He didn't exactly blow anyone out of their seats at the world juniors. I think for someone hyped up as him he might be a bust and its just spectulation from my part not saying he is going to be but if any of the top 10 where to be I would have to think it might be him just because everything I have heard about him is all over the map. I think Druin doesn't get enough credit making Team Canada at 17 in a lockout year and was probably their best player him or Nuge. They didn't get the results they wanted but he has mad talent and hockey smarts, I should really just stop talking about him just makes me wish Jersey had the slightest shot at him

How about we all just comment on that one for now since it's actually readable.

Why is everyone on here thinking nichuskin is going before drouin/ mackinnon...?

Its not even close drouin and mackinnon are far better and far safer picks (i.e. the whole russia khl thing). Yzerman is not stupid enough to pick nichuskin over drouin/ mackinnon

And little Gerbe man, you must have been smoking some crack if you think Nashville is going to skip on MacKinnon for Barkov in that one mock draft.

Nichushkin has already said he's leaving the KHL at the end of this year.

Reportedly Dynamo paid 10 million rubles to secure his rights.

If that report is accurate, it seems very unlikely that they would agree to his departure without a fuss.
