Again, the Avs are going to be in a tough situation as to which player they think is the better player long-term between Jones & MacKinnon.

I guess it's a great position to be in but not for a moment do I think it's a lock they're taking Jones at #1.

And because MacKinnon has had such a great season, the best player at the Mem Cup & is owning the Hawks in the final after one period, Sakic & company might be turning their eyes on a franchise centre over a franchise d-man.

I know but you can always move him for other assets that fit in better but teams are not going to sway away from their boards & if Drouin were to fall to 7(which I think has a zero chance) the Oilers would grab him very fast.

Or some team may just give the Oilers an overpayment to move up and get Drouin.

28th most shots for per game. 4th most shots against. Highest shooting percentage in the league featuring Lupul shooting at 26.2%, Kadri at 17%, and Bozak at 19.7%. Reimer having numbers outside of his capability.

Worst part is TO's gonna think they did something right since they made the playoffs.

If the oil kids don't finish ahead of the flames the oilers should trade them all because they will never be winners

Everything that happened this year has to be judged carefully ... Small sample and over a full 82 game season with players all on the same starting point will make things very different , they got some good young players tho so it's not all bad

He dealt like a mad-man when he was our GM, and he took us to game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals! It's not his fault that Pronger couldn't keep his schlong to himself, and everything turned to sh1t. And no, Lowe was not the puppet master when Tambellini was GM... Both had COMPLETELY different styles.

For all we know Tambo did nothing wrong. Everything had to run through K Lowe. MacT's probably under Lowe's reigns too.

Of course. And if Lowe was really running the show, I think he would have been far more aggressive in acquiring those guys... That's why MacT was hired. I honestly believe Lowe is letting our GM's do their own job.
