It wuld be an easy decision if that 4th Line hasn't been so damn good. No way you can sit him when they are playing this well... but the logic is there

ya my point was that it's understandable to think that way (such the logic of it) but obviously its a no.... and in that case if it did happen another forward would likely drop to play more 4th line mins...

don't think its ever a good idea to actually dress 7 D. ever. unless you have a hybrid type that can play both. and even then, meh.

and it was awesome! But the old man is gone and not coming back. I will give him one thing though, he always made it look more dramatic and exciting than it needed to be. The causal fans or new fans will always defer to Thomas as Tuukka is positionally sound and not super exciting to watch for casual fans.

Can't ever take away what Thomas did in his career and all the adversity he overcame. It sucks it ended the way it did. I'll never understand what he was thinking but it clear he became a distraction. I just hate when Tuukka has a bad game and people immediately rub Thomas in his face like some jerk with pictures of his kids(look at the baby, look at the baby!). Would you really want him gone? Good luck with that when TO, DET, MTL, OTT take ownership of the B's without a solid goalie.
