in the playoffs.. bozak's faceoff percentage was third behind mcclement and grabovski
played on the most productive line and was a 0 plus minus
his intangibles that everyone keeps talking about are seriously over rated - Dozzer
He was playing injured, no? |

Ya. He did have the injury but he can't possibly get paid that much. I do feel he is more versatile than Grabo, but Grabo producing outweighs Bozaks versatility. If Grabs could get as good in the dot he'de be more valuable anyway. |

bah... a lot of guys play hurt in the post season
and other than the last ten minutes of game 7 the leafs did fine without him in the last two games
3.5 million tops.. or let him walk |

The point about them doing well without him at the most crucial time is valid for sure. |

i am more than fine with kadri, grabo, colborne, and mcclement as the centres for next year
there is nothing that bozak brings to the table that is enough to make me think he is necessary enough to pay him that much |

i havent had bologna in a long time.. its too dangerous for me
if its in my fridge i always keep grabbing pieces as a snack - Dozzer
It's not the healthiest meat is it? I once took a chance and tried some of the yves "bologna" Not sure why I did, but after taking a taste I realized why I never did in the first place. That veggie poop is just terrible. But the crumbled poop you can get ain't the worst if you make a chili with it. |

I wouldn't mind it too much either, I think Colborne works out, he looked alright in his last games. If they can grab Clarkson they can still rock these centers, accept Grabs could play with him rather than McCarthur. |

Why is everyone convinced somehow Clarkson will answer the questions we have going into next season?
I'll admit I don't watch him play, but based on his numbers I'm not very impressed. |

It wouldn't solve all the problems but the forwards aren't really a bug problem for Toronto, Clarkson would just add more muscle and a 3rd power forward, certainly an upgrade over mac. |

the grabo we know will be back next year i bet.. if not.. save a compliance buyout and use it on him next season
only guy that NEEDS to be bought out this year is komi.. tho.. since he makes less than his cap hit this year a team like the isles might take a flyer on him if the leafs trade him for a 7th or something |

you dont pay a guy 5.5million because he's the second or third best FO guy in your division

Clarkson would be a solid add for this team. He'd bring more of what we need - Size and strength and grit, and he can score.
Problem is he's going to get paid as a 1st liner and he's not remotely close to that. He's going to get overpaid, and people will be female doging he's making too much this time next year. |

I'm like that with pretty much all cured meats... $20 dollars of prosciutto would be gone in 2 minutes if I had my way.... Hence why my heart thanks me for not buying much of said meat |
