I'm not much of a Detroit fan either, but I do wish Buffalo would mold their team after them. To me, the only thing better than imposing your will on someone, is having someone try to pose their will on you, and having it fail because you are simply un-phased by it. It's a more effective way of getting into someone else's head.

how badly outcoached Q is getting by Babcock. His defensive gameplan is neutralizing the Hawks speed

the Hawks have no idea how to execute on the power play

they put no traffic in front of the goalie so shots are always seen, from the perimeter and there's no chance at any rebounds

Crawford is a mental midget and while he's been pretty good, Howard has outplayed him

That isn't a fair statement. It has been pretty clear that Crawford is not an elite goaltender and relies on a great team game to make his game great.

Like the Bears Crawford is who we thought he was, good enough but predicated on the play in front.

It frustrates and makes them play worse.. a talented well coached team almost always beats a highly talented medium coached team.

This. The guys they have now mistake cross checks and face washes after the whistle for grit. Grit is going to the net consistently and taking your beating and still making a play. Old Danny Clearly is playing gritty, Bickell and Shaw are not. Nobody ever won a series with cross checks and face washes after the whistle, particularly against the Wings.

Watch how Boston has handled the Rangers. They have skill but also a ton of grit. They forecheck as well as anyone and dominated a pretty physical Rangers team on the walls. They always have bodies in front and are willing to get dirty. Part of it is mindset, part of it is who you are as a player.

I agree that Quenneville is getting painfully out-coached. Detroit is playing a perfect game to neutralize their team speed and the 'Hawks keep trying to win by using team speed. Um Q... why don't you try a style that is designed to counteract what Detroit is doing instead of pushing the same style that is not working? Get creative.

The stars are not shining. Toews, Hossa, Kane, and Sharp are visitant. Toews and Hossa being especially invisible.

Crawford is playing really well. You Crawford haters have way too high standards. He stopped 25 of 26 shots and had some BIG saves. Howard has just been standing on his head.

The non-interference calls are killer but does it matter? The Hawks are getting destroyed at the dot and their power-play is sooooooooooooooooooo bad.

Agreed...the first was PHUCK ALL and the 2nd Ass'hol'kader EMBELLISHED the PHUCK out of it. The 3rd was just DUMB by Toews.

I NEVER EVER thought i'd see Toews melt down mentally. And he's doing the one thing you can NEVER DO in the playoffs or anytime else: let them see you SWEAT.

This - we're hoping the first move made here in Chi-town is that Stan and Daddy are no longer part of this team. The Bowmans were gift wrapped a cup by Tallon's moves and have done nothing since then. Except get rid of a cup winning goalie who's up for a Vezina and a Lady Byng winner in Campbell for a 4 mil bust. As well as other key parts and gotten very little in return. Or how bout the move for Monty...I'm sure Sabre fans are familiar with this bust, but Stan had to have him...pathetic.
