I'd prefer 2014 1st rounder + Dave Bolland - theblueandgold
Why? Don't get me wrong I like the guy but I'd take a prospect with size and top 6 potential over Bolland any day. |

Yep. Playing for the Yankees is a treat to the players, unless your name is AJ Burnett. |

Not enough for Miller, not even close. The Hawks will draft towards the bottom every year because of how good they are. |

If Enroth isnt capable of playing 55 games, hes not ready to be a starter in this league.
I think Enroth is capable, but that doesnt mean I would want him to start that many. - theblueandgold
I would be ok with one guy getting 50 or so starts and the other getting 32. I think with the younger team and everything, that would be the best way to go. |

I think we need a solid veteran 3rd line center that can play a 2 way game and take the tough defensive minutes away from Hodgson and Grigorenko so they can focus on their confidence and offense.
If the Sabres had any type of quality bottom 6 this year, that starts with a 3rd line center, they would have done better. We were forced to play Hodgson and Ennis in tough matchups a lot and they struggled tremendously. Hodgson was like the 650th worst forward in the league in goals against per 60 or something like that. Ennis was in the bottom 5% when he was put in defensive minutes when the Sabres were trying to hold the lead. |

No way should Darcy still have a job let alone being in charge of this rebuild. |

We'll have to wait and see. I dont think there is much of a market for Miller. Limited teams for him to go to begin with. Plenty of solid options in free agency or trades for teams to go after.
Regarding the 1st rounder, it doesnt matter where Chicago picks. I want it so we have some room to work with by having two 1st rounders. With three 2nd round picks in 2014, the Sabres can put a good package together with the Chicago 1st rounder to move up 5-10 picks. Thats with any team. Wherever we deal Miller, I hope we get a 2014 1st rounder included. |

Right, I agree, but what I'm saying is... if Enroth is ready to be a starter, he should be capable of handling 55 games. If not, then we essentially have 2 backups as our goalies, and we are overplaying one of them. |

I think he's ready. I just need him to make sure that the cramping issue isn't a problem. I think personality wise he can handle it as well. He doesn't usually get too high or too low and that's going to be important with the team that's going to be in front of him. |

Darcy should have been fired for not claiming Kyle Turris - SABRES 89
I want Darcy gone as much of the next guy, but you can say that about 29 other GM's. Turris had all the signs of a cancer written all over him. Only certain people can get through to a guy like that, and the Sabres didn't have that type of player. Turris under Ruff would have been the newest public enemy here. Turris is a product of his environment. |

I think Alfie is a big reason he's been able to be successful. Plus he wasn't expected to be their #1 guy because of Spezza. He was given the chance to actually adjust and play his game. |

I hope so. If anyone can do it, I would think it would be them. But Detroit has done a great job of shutting down Hossa, Toews, Kane and Sharp. Not quite sure how they're managing to do it, but they are. |
