well it looks like Tuukka is in the middle of an implosion so maybe not.

he seems to be taking it quite well. based on 2010 philly and 2013 toronto, this one will go seven games.

You're probably right. How could you turn down the dulcet tones of Dimmu Borgir?

FIST.

Not to poo poo on the Rangers, but what HAS Lundqvist ever won? Cup? Nope. Olympic Gold Medal? Nope. Anything other than a GQ sports page? Nope.

He's an over-rated head case. They always show him after the game in the locker room or at the presser wearing his stupid hat with his own number on it and his King symbol. He's not about the team, he's about himself and the Rangers will never win with him in the net. Just because the managed to luck one out tonight, this series is over. Done. Just like his career is. He's the Ryan Miller of New York. Miller hasn't won anything either. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

Hank is one of the best goaltenders, skill for skill if put in a vacumn, to ever play the game. Hasek never won anything either...until he went to a better team.

Also, you Bruins fans can chill out about Rask. Does anyone remember the 100-footer Quick let in last year? Debacles happen, off nights can happen. He'll be fine.

There is really only one guy going freakarenko about Rask. He's fine. Not worried at all.

well, I know you are very objective about your feelings about Lundqvist and all...
- jimbro83

I lost track here, I thought we were talking about a different head case

You know what I meant. Has Ovi won anything? No.

Hank is an elite goaltender, and not having the fortune of being on a team who went deep doesn't speak to his talent. Much like the Sabres never got it done with him either..though the game should have never ended one year...

^The second him being Hasek...

Considering they made that call during the season, on and off, and in the playoffs itself..it had to be called. Stupid rule to begin with, but you can't have arbitrary officiating, especially in..you know, the Cup Finals.

do we need more proof that Lundqvist won an Olympic gold medal?

I could keep going....

- jimbro83

No I'm pretty sure the first one was sufficient, but thanks Jimbo

So he won the special olympics door prize... That isn't winning something of actual value. OH YOU DID SO GOOD DURING THE REGULAR SEASON CUPCAKE, HERE'S YOUR PRIZE. And we all know how important winning the regular season is. Just ask Vancouver (and chicago right now)

Since Derick Brassard had two assists after the moment Brad Marchand skated away and wussed out from the fight they should have had, I wonder if Marchand regrets being a little scaredy cat?

Edit: “Sometimes he doesn’t show any respect for his opponents,” Brassard told The Post following yesterday’s prep work for tonight’s Game 5. “He’s been asking everybody on our team to fight all series, so I thought it was time to take him up on it, but then I guess he didn’t have any interest.”

brad is a pest just like Callahan so they should fight each other. I give your 4th line credit for trying to mix it up with Campbell and Thornton.

countless times I saw Bruins fans wrote on message boards, criticizing Avery for not dropping the gloves and being willing to fight, calling him a wuss, and a lot worse.

Same thing. No?

Yes it is the same thing more or less, and just like pest Avery, it's not likely he will drop the gloves cause that's not their game. It drives people nuts and that's their game. Well in Avery's case it was his game, but that guy had other issues too.
