I'm surprised Bjugstad is the one you would want no interest in Shore, Trocheck, Howden, Knight? I'm not saying I'm really open to trading them but we have a lot of decent size centers and other prospects bjugstad is biggest. - Crazycaboose
Bjugstad is Olesz 2.0. Have faith in Tallon tho!!! he's our savior lol |

I was thinking 4th/5th rounder. IMO Gudbranson desperately needs a change in scenery. - LetsGoBuffalo75
I think Bjugstad is overrated and I'm not so big on Gudbranson either but I agree a change of scenery would help.
Personally I'd take Howden or Grimaldi before Bjugstad. |

no he doesn't. I wouldn't trade him only because young dmen take time to develop, even tho he's extremely slow, there might still be something there. Def a waste of a 3rd overall draft pick tho, it's sad Fowler goes to the ducks in the mid 20's. Bust of a pick gudy has been up till now. - BallardHitsHard22
I was actually surprised at his lack of mobility from the few times I've seen him play, I assumed he was a bit faster for such a high pick. |

Can you even give any reason on how you came up with he is Olesz 2.0? Because I want to hear this one! |

AV getting fired is no surprise, unless there is a very good return Miller is staying in Buffalo. |

I wouldn't say no interest, just that I think we'd be leaning more toward Bjugstad. |

Well of course always shoot for the moon you never know what some gms would part with.
Edit: and the only reason I wouldn't do the offer you said is that both contracts are close to ending both great players but that's a lot of cap to eat and even of vanek resigned it would be 7-8 mill which I don't think the cats would do. For him since we could be losing out on a potential #1 center who is 6'6. and gudbranson who I think will be very good I'm not one to give up on young D men I like a lot about his game. |

Both big bodies. Both drafted as centers. Both drafted in the 1st round. Both extremely slow, Olesz ended up a bust (something I said the first year he played but of course got killed by ppl like you, ppl that don't see things clearly). Bjugstad isn't worthy of a 1st rounder, neither was Gudt and neither was Howden. Tallon really fudged this one up. I don't need to say anymore, it will be clear to ppl like you in years to come when you watch these kids not produce and miss the playoffs year in and year out. |

Grimaldi is hit or miss. He's a finisher which would but him ahead of Howden. Ull see. Howden won't last in the NHL either. |

I'm a fan that objects to the direction the team is headed. Sorry, it's a shame Florida media doesn't push and put pressure on them to win. Chicago was different. Places like NY, Boston, they want to win, pressure on them all the time. It's the opposite in South Florida. No one cares about hockey down there, Tallon doesn't get any pressure from media. You don't hear a peep. That's certainly not a good thing. Even the idiot season ticket holders keep their mouths shut. They pay top dollar for a losing product every season. Big woop they got one playoff appearance in over a decade and now back to rock bottom. Keep paying the Yormarks your hard earned money, they really put a product to be proud of out on that ice!! |

I have the right as a fan to be critical. I've seen this rebuilding process fail THREE TIMES since 97, and it's happening again. Sorry you just took an interst in the team what? 5 years ago?? You no nothing if you think this team is headed upward. One great prospect (huby) doesn't account for all the other needs on this team. Sorry to break it to you but I'm only trying to show how and why this organization is failing once again. |

It's one thing to be critical but you just make a complete ass out of yourself. I know the team has sucked Richard for a long time but I'm not going to let past history affect how I support my team!
It's not going to be over night that we become contenders we got set back almost a decade by kennan and Martian. How about giving Tallon a chance before pooping on every move he does even the one that's haven't been in the NHL for more then 10-20 games or none at all before they are busts. Not everyone can jump right in it takes time.

So Vancouver loses Schneider and gets Miller? How does this make any sense from a Vancouver stand point? - hankthetank
They should also be getting a pick/prospect... |

I'd rather have nothing than Clemmensen. He was good when he saved New Jersey's ass after the Marty injury. Also, the only good prospect that you guys could give up is Bjugstad (no way you give up Huberdeau)... Not worth it unless there are picks involved. - LetsGoBuffalo75
Have you researched our prospect pool? Trochek, Howden, Shore, Grimaldi, Matheson, etc... |
