Wildcard here... Florida. Think on it.. sign Miller to a two year deal or something, let Markstrom back him up. Markstrom is the future in net here, but he needs a little more time to work on his consistency. Florida has the pieces to make it happen. Maybe even throw Clemmensen the other way to Buffalo. Theodore is not yet signed.

I'd rather have nothing than Clemmensen. He was good when he saved New Jersey's ass after the Marty injury. Also, the only good prospect that you guys could give up is Bjugstad (no way you give up Huberdeau)... Not worth it unless there are picks involved.

Hey Lard A S S, you can't keep changing your favorite team. Pick one. Flyers? Leafs? Now Canucks? Did I miss any?

how do you figure? sounds like you are trying to be smart but you are not.
- toddkac

Outisde of Chicago (who I'm not sure want Miller all that much) there aren't any west coast teams who are "desperate" for goaltending help so they may not be inclined to give us what we want.

Fucale will be flame book it your coach is in love with him

Never hurts to have extra goalie prospects but flames will find out about Ramo and Berra this year and still have brossoit and gillies coming in the system

So Vancouver loses Schneider and gets Miller? How does this make any sense from a Vancouver stand point?
- hankthetank

Because Miller doesn't have play-off jitters or anxiety. I would take Miller over Schneider without question.

Now onto the coaching move in Vancouver ... I think Gillis really needs to look at himself in the mirror. He has done a poor job. It all started with that ridiculous contract for Luongo. He is the reason Vancouver is in this mess.

When will they fire Gillis?

Many of these suggestions make NO sense. How about teams that actually NEED a goalie? The Flames, Oilers, and Wild immediately come to mind with the Devils being a sleeper (gotta plan for life after Marty).

EDM was 7th in SV% this year. But thanks for your concern

- top shelf 15

Look at the winning mem cup goalies past 15 years ... A whole bunch of nobodies .... There's a better baseball prospect in there then goalie

You guys have other players like Grimaldi, but I think Bjugstad would be the most intriguing. We NEED a big center.

Panthers need a goaltender. They won't go into next year with Markstrom as their #1, he didn't prove anything this year. He was lost in half his starts, Tallon will make a huge mistake if he things this kid could carry this bum team for a full season. Miller would make perfect sense and of course EK has no idea....

if they trade Bjugstad, it won't be for a goalie. I'd only trade him if we get a top line forward back in return. Since that won't happen, he's stuck in Florida to waste his career away on a team that won't make the playoffs for another 12 years.

Did they fire him so they can snatch Ruff before New York has a chance to fire Torts?

I was thinking 4th/5th rounder. IMO Gudbranson desperately needs a change in scenery.

I'd do Bjugstad for Vanek straight up. We need a goal scorer, Bjugstad will never score over 25 goals in a season, In the 12 or so games he played in this year, he was basically invisible, you can have him.

I'm surprised Bjugstad is the one you would want no interest in Shore, Trocheck, Howden, Knight? I'm not saying I'm really open to trading them but we have a lot of decent size centers and other prospects bjugstad is biggest.

no he doesn't. I wouldn't trade him only because young dmen take time to develop, even tho he's extremely slow, there might still be something there. Def a waste of a 3rd overall draft pick tho, it's sad Fowler goes to the ducks in the mid 20's. Bust of a pick gudy has been up till now.
