I think Miller goes to the Islanders, and Vanek goes to Edmonton....Edmonton tried to sign him 7 years ago, and now that they've recently brought everybody back to their head office, I think they would take him again!

Fleury and a package of picks/prospects for Miller

Fleury has enough regular season success to back Buffalo during the regular season while the owners know they can't make a serious run for several years anyway while Miller goes to Pittsburgh where ownership is desperate to win now and incurs a minimal salary increase over Fleury.

Iginla resigns on the cheap looking for another shot to win a cup only to have Crosby, Malkin, and Neal get hurt again leaving Iginla with flashbacks to Calgary days when it was him and Kipper carrying the flames team every night.

Make the 2nd a 1st, throw in a later round pick as well.

Colorado - only if we get rid of vanek too in a different deal we could make this one and get stastny in a miller deal. I would prefer E. Johnson but you obviously cant get people you want like Landeskog or other great players for a goalie over the hill

Chicago - If they lose out and blame Crawford I could see them going for a FA goalie or lower goalie then miller unless they want to give up shaw and stalberg or something like that

Phoenix - makes a ton of sense for Miller. Unless samuelsson is coming back there is not many other players i would personally want though

Philly - well take b schenn but i dont think theyd seperate the brothers. maybe sean c. instead?

Minny - Maybe they could do that but they do not have the cap room. Theyd prolly have to give up clutterbuck and coyle and a pick

st. louis - maybe jayden scwartz and another prospect or pick for him (Darcy loves this team)

does miller have a NTC? cuz if he does i cant see him going to any non contender or any team that isnt at least close, and considering the drama in Phoenix i say everyone tries to avoid it, this should also eliminate Calgary

also in terms of Chitown, if they lose this series and if they dare blame this on Crawford that would be shameful, considering how their offense is playing

I would presume so. More to the point, I would presume they're going to be Flyers for quite a long time.

I know that teams have to give to get, but I don't want to see the Flyers break up what I view as the team's core for the next several years (that being Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, B. Schenn, L. Schenn, and Couturier.) Anyone else on the roster, I would be willing to consider in deals, but those six players I feel are going to be the backbone of the roster, and it would hurt the team more than it would help to move them.

If there was a deal for Ryan Miller that didn't include any backbone players, I'd want the Flyers to pursue it with all haste, but I would need to be overwhelmed beyond all rationality to move backbone players, and Ryan Miller isn't the kind of overwhelming deal that would make it work for me.

I still have a soft spot for Luke schenn. Yes JVR is great and right now it looks like we won the trade but defensive dmen take the longest to develop, more so than any position. Luke is a beauty and is fearless, fits the flyer mold for years

I agree. Luke's game has developed tremendously this year, and from afar, it seems JVR's did as well. JVR for Schenn is probably going to turn out to be the rare trade where both teams win, and even though both fanbases hated it, I think we're both going to love it for some time to come.

I would do anything to move up and get mackinnon. if not try to get 2 picks in the top 5
