Im pretty much in the same boat. If Miller came out and said he wanted to stay then I would gladly re sign him but if he wants out so bad then send him packing. Im not sure he will haunt us down the road

There is so much we don't know about the Flyers off-season plans, but I do know that as the season wound down I kept hearing Ryan Miller's name being mentioned. Would he come to Philly and stay in the East? Could the Sabres trade him to one of their most hated rivals? Would the Flyers part with a player like Brayden Schenn to make a deal happen?

I would presume so. More to the point, I would presume they're going to be Flyers for quite a long time.

I know that teams have to give to get, but I don't want to see the Flyers break up what I view as the team's core for the next several years (that being Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, B. Schenn, L. Schenn, and Couturier.) Anyone else on the roster, I would be willing to consider in deals, but those six players I feel are going to be the backbone of the roster, and it would hurt the team more than it would help to move them.

If there was a deal for Ryan Miller that didn't include any backbone players, I'd want the Flyers to pursue it with all haste, but I would need to be overwhelmed beyond all rationality to move backbone players, and Ryan Miller isn't the kind of overwhelming deal that would make it work for me.

I think Miller goes to the Islanders, and Vanek goes to Edmonton....Edmonton tried to sign him 7 years ago, and now that they've recently brought everybody back to their head office, I think they would take him again!

Schenn for Miller? Heck NO! I would be beyond pissed. I truly think BUF will be very underwhelmed by what they get for Miller. Very underwhelmed. Goalies are in high supply and what has Miller done lately other then whined a bunch?

If you get a decent defense in front of him where he isn't facing the most shots in the NHL, he will win you some games you don't belong in. He has been the reason the Sabres don't pick first in the draft, don't be suprised if he wins where he goes

Everyone seems to be forgetting that Miller can submit his list of 8 teams...
Teams that COULD be on there:
Phoenix, Dallas, Edmonton, Calgary, Colorado, Columbus, Islanders, Tampa Bay, Nashville, Florida

Several of these teams are on these rumors. I still think St Louis is most likely.
