We can blame whoever we want for the lack of success, but bottom line is that nobody is producing. We can't make simple passes, let alone string together 3 or more clean passes. So you can blame Torts and his system of you like, but we've all seen that when they execute the game plan well, they win.

Sometimes when I am writing and spell check pops up on that word I realize my error. I usually get that one right but that is another one that isn't easy. I don't envy anyone that has to learn this language as an adult.

I before e except after c is a doozy. Even if it is spelled out literally

I'm not being a grammar troll. I'm merely stating, journalist live by the written word, and as such they are typically masters of it.

I should print out a post and have an english teacher grade it and have it sent back to him. He will blame Torts

I think the real masters of grammar are the editors. I have seen some notable journalists on blogs with less of an editorial influence make some egregious errors. That being said, there are few things that pi$$ me off more than when the writer and editor miss an obvious error.

You used more semi-colons in this paragraph, than I've used in 33 years on this planet. If they are used properly, which I do not believe they are, well done.
- WayneZ

“Here is a lesson in creative writing. First rule: Do not use semicolons. They are transvestite hermaphrodites representing absolutely nothing. All they do is show you've been to college.”

We were going to discuss the Ranger's offensive scheme, but i don't think they crossed the B's blue line. I'm just trying to keep you guys from killing yourselves.

I'm just amazed he was able to contain himself. "The Rangers PP really needs to take a book out of Sidney Crosby's book......."

Yes, he was. They had one entry that was effective and looked like it was organized.
