I know right - GioRock
I just dont see how Nash is elite. Look at his playoff statistics as well. He a good player but not in the Crosby Malkin Ovi league. I would still take him on the isles though

That's enough homer BS. Good Day. - GioRock
In a few years he will be ahead of them all except Crosby. Book it. I would say the same if was a Ranger. He has unreal talent and makes everyone around him better.

So, we are all in off-season mode now. If the Rangers win tomorrow night, will we return to season mode, or will it take a win in Game 5 as well? - Pete V
I was thinking about this. If they somehow win tomorrow, it will perhaps start to bring up questions to the Bruins about blowing their 3-0 lead on Philly, and their lead on the Leafs and maybe that makes them nervous.
I just don't see us playing well enough right now to even take tomorrow's game

Neither do I, but I guess with Hank in net, you can always steal one.

It's funny. We have to remind ourselves that Torts is till the coach and Brad Richards is still on this team as they all prepare for a playoff game tomorrow. It will be an odd feelign if they in the next 2 because we have to switch gears again
I know I dabbled a little earlier but let's hold off on any potential future trades that could be made or players that might be here next season. I have a feeling this team might be busier than what's generally expected.

I am still in season mode. While I don't think they win this series anymore, I think they can push it to a fifth game. I will say this, if this series can somehow get back to MSG for a sixth game, all bets are off.
If you asked these guys if Nash was elite on Columbus it was 100% yes now he's not, I wonder what changed their minds, he's an elite power forward, he's played 43 games and 10 playoff games, I think it's a little premature to judge, just saying.

Tavares is awesome and very could be a top five overall player in the league right now. But teams don't need a top five center to win a cup every year. If that was the case, how did Boston and LA win their titles?
Bruins don't have a top five forward and neither does Los Angeles.

Put it this way we look as tired as we did in the ECF if not more and it's only the 3rd game of the 2nd round, I'm not seeing any chance of winning game 4

I would have loved to have floundered for 2 decades, think of the possibilities

Nash is an elite forward, whoever is saying otherwise is just trying to stir the pot.
Is he in Crosby's class? No but nobody is, not even Malkin. It's hard to dump on a player who hasn't played a whole lot of playoff hockey and determine him a failure because he hasn't produced in the 14 games he has played in overall. I have faith that he will pull through, if not this season, in the playoff season's ahead.

Perfectly possible. If the Bs always played at their highest level, then they'd probably sweep or at least dominate every series they play in. But they don't. They're about due for another lull, and the Rangers can pounce.

Just like anyone who knocks Hank, Iginla is a Hall of Famer and he's never been ridiculed like Hank, Doan and Alfie are 2 other guys with great careers and never have you seen them take any kind of hit

I still think Boston wins this in five but if these guys can surprise me and win the next two games, 2010 cold sweats for all of the Bruins that experienced that, will definitely start to worry it could happen to them twice.
Especially Rask, who was the goalie in that entire series.
